Not necessarily a nice pub but Just got back from town, not been for a long while and I know its spoons but 3 pints of Stowford press, 1 pint of Guinness and 1 pint of Poretti = £13.55. 5 pints for under 14 quid guiness alone is £6 something in my local.

Did the Benidorm half last weekend, i say half but decided to drop down to the 10k so I could run with my wife. Such a fantastic event with over 6.5k runners and 43% were british. Weather was between 20-25 over the 4 days we were there. Having never been there i wasbunsure what yo expect but Stayed in the old town which I think gets an unfair rep. Didn't venture to the sleazy side though. Other than that I'm going for a PB at a park run next week so hope watermead is on.

Did 24.33 at Bosworth yesterday and came first in my age group. Never done that before so well chuffed

Trying something different today, 5 mile bike to do market Bosworth parkrun. Then stop off for a sausage sarnie at Liberteas in Newbold Verdon on way back. Looks bloody cold out though!

Back in the 90s when I lived alone I used to pop into Morrisons on the way home and the yellow sticker trolley determined what I had for dinner each night. Boy did I live well but put over a stone on so had to sack it off.

Just entered the Ashby 20 and Stratford marathon which was only £39 on early bird. Never done either of those distances so if anyone can recommend a training plan it would be appreciated.

In prep for the Leicester half I'm running 5-6 miles tonight and 8 on Thursday. Then I'm resting the bones til Sunday. Like @Raj said what you do this week won't make little difference.

My FA said I can stop at 65 in 6 years, I have thrown every payrise and then some for the last 10 or so years into my works pension through salary sacrifice which helped. Our plan is to downsize in 3-4 years and buy a little place in Spain in readiness to go for the winter.

I've got a sprint triathlon tomorrow at East Leake and hoping to do the 5k run in 26 minutes or less. As for the Leicester half anywhere around the 2 hour mark I'll be happy with.

We really have mastered the art providing end of career players with their final payday.

I thought Yoga was a bit daft and for the pretentious but gave it a go during lock down. Been to a class ever since and I really am noticing the difference. Especially getting out of bed in the morning. Over the last 18 months I really have worked on the breathing and not sure if it is linked but my running has benefitted as I'm not blowing out my backside as much.
