Run 8 completed and over 25% of the way through the challenge of running 5km each and every day of October. I have set myself a little extra target of running over 100 miles in the month which means I am doing about 0.20km extra each day. And at nearly 51 years old that extra makes a massive difference 😂 please keep sharing, supporting and if possible please donate to help raise funds and awareness of this amazing cause by clicking the link to my just giving page below. Also as I am running as team LCFC let’s get the Foxes as high up the fundraising table as possible 🦊 https://click.contact.justgiving.com/?qs=c36de5a6435f3423dc58b6f10619805796a37ce0bbc1c9b0ae525c6c0e218d0b887c4090f18a592fa569d362634172ea3e82e525df183713 -

Difficult to beat means you make it difficult for teams to create chances, we are on average conceding 19 chances per game, been reliant on our keeper performing heroics and rank bad finishing, we are not difficult just very bloody lucky at the moment, when our luck does run out we will be on the end of some right thumpings if we don’t sort it out.

If true Cooper is playing a dangerous game, truth is as soon as he falls out with Vardy then it will be game over for him. I honestly believe despite the result yesterday he is literally hanging on by his fingernails. I still wouldn’t be shocked if there is a parting of of the ways within the next month, as his position with the squad becomes untenable. I think the majority of the season the players are playing for the club, fans and personal pride rather than running through a brick wall for him and his staff.

Run 6 complete and 20% of the way through my challenge of running 5km each and every day of October to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK. A win is a win however the stats show yet again that we created very little and yet again conceded another tonne of chances with Xg over 2. The tactics are stifling our creativity and we are very much reliant on moments of individual brilliance, our goalkeeper and a huge amount of luck that teams are missing gilt edged chances. I make no apologies for this, but he has to go more and more rumours of player discontent, honking in game management and a continued refusal to give any serious game time or involvement of our academy developed players suggests he is so far removed from the club ethos, this appointment is not working, and all I can foresee is an absolutely battering in the none too distant future. There is little in the way of positivity. Players being alienated, his reliance on players who are defensive minded, strange substitutions and in game management that invites pressure and is so defensive and negative.

Run number 5 completed, got a bit giddy today and fastest run so far, but last 1km started to feel every bit and more of my 50 years of age. Note to self tomorrow start off a bit slower 😂 please please share across your network, family and friends, to help raise awareness and hopefully donations to this amazing cause. Remember this horrible disease takes a man’s life every 45 minutes so by the time this afternoons game has ended 2 men will have died as a result of prostate cancer. https://click.contact.justgiving.com/?qs=c36de5a6435f3423dc58b6f10619805796a37ce0bbc1c9b0ae525c6c0e218d0b887c4090f18a592fa569d362634172ea3e82e525df183713 -

I believe Cooper wants to replace him with a mascot who has more premier league experience -
Yesterdays result in isolation on paper looks fairly respectable as do the results to date, we haven’t been hammered from a results perspective, however when you delve deeper that is where the underlying stats and performances start to suggest a more concerning trend and that it’s highly unlikely to improve. • 116 chances conceded in 6 league games • had it not been for poor finishing, last ditch blocks as some unbelievable goalkeeping we would have been subject to 4 hammerings. • negative approach to team selections, tactical set up and bizarre in game management • continuing to ignore a number of players who were superb and integral to our style and success last season • lack of a coherent style of play • this week we played 2 very winnable games vs bottom of the table and injury ravaged Everton and vs league 2 Walsall and in both games we were lucky to end the 90 minutes on level terms. This is a poor appointment, the drop off in quality, performance, mentality has been stark and continues to diminish with each passing week. Continually calling out poor referee decisions seems the ramblings of a beaten man, desperate to divert the focus, blame and attention from a manager so far out of his depth it’s criminal. There are zero redeeming qualities, the players are hamstrung by his cowardly tactics and we genuinely seem a different side when the handbrake is removed. Realistically there is enough in this squad to finish anywhere from 17th to 11th if managed properly, however with this mentality midget in charge, we will do well to finish 18th, I think as each passing week goes by we will continue to sink to the bottom of the table, he is too cautious even against poor opposition as the two earlier games this week proved, we will fail to win so many winnable games and kill any momentum and opportunity to climb clear of relegation. This is self preservation at its finest as he knows one or two 4-0 or 5-0 stuffings and the majority of the crowd will turn and his position becomes untenable, at the minute whilst we are doing nothing to win games, he is making sure the results and scorelines are respectable enough to try and avoid scrutiny.

For someone who sets us up so negatively, we have now conceded 116 shots in 6 league games, that is an average of 19 per game and we have conceded the highest XG so far this season, aligned to the fact we are also in the bottom 3 for XG created and it’s clear to see we are a mess from back to front. We were lucky to get out today without conceding double figures. He has been so lucky that every team we have played have missed a hatful of very good chances and we could and should have been dead and buried in 5 of the 6 games so far. Whilst we have not yet taken a battering in terms of scoreline we have been a very poor second in most of the games. Talksport even called us out in the first half for having zero ambition and the mentality of a league two team away to a premier league team in the cup. It’s horrendous what he has done to the mentality of this club in such a short space of time. as for his subs why make only one sub at 75 minutes and then wait until injury time to make the rest. Surely you freshen it up earlier, beggars belief. Yes it was Arsenal but the manner of how he is setting us up and his piss poor in game management means he has to go, it has been poor all season regardless of the opposition.

I agree he should be in the side, but I am slightly relieved he isn’t, actually thought he might have selected him today and effectively threw him under the bus.

What would be interesting is if this is a Cooper led or club led appointment, but with Coopers blessing. I know he has worked with Cooper previously at Forest but the very fact he wasn’t bulleted when Cooper was sacked suggests he isn’t necessarily a Cooper disciple and Forest felt he had something to offer to retain his services for continuity. He has also worked at West Ham under Moyes if I recall correctly so could well be appointed with a view of remaining even in the event Cooper is sacked. I would imagine if Cooper did go, Andy Hughes and Reid could be retained.
