Long way to go, but if he can get a positive result today then it goes some way to showing he has the potential to eke out results.
-
😂😂😂 Cooper making some of us look absolute helmets.
-
Long way to go but Cooper is making me looking like a right negative moaning ar53hole and I will happy to eat lashings of humble pie if we pick up good results and wins 😂
-
I took one look at this team selection and had to go to the bog for a momentous 💩 so whilst it’s an utterly underwhelming and negative selection, I can at least enjoy the opportunity of an absolute thunderbastard of a plop and feeling a good pound or two lighter. Mr Cooper you are an horrendous football manager but a magician when it comes to weight loss initiatives 😂
-
No not really, still negative as hell and too me just looks like excuses all in Matchday squad so have to be deemed fit enough for selection. He could still have been more positive and selecting Abdul. He is so negative, he has selected the absolute bare minimum in terms of attacking players and two of the 3 are over 30, we have next to no creativity in this team.
-
None of Ricardo, Facundo, Bilal or Abdul in the starting line up, make no mistake he is not helping himself in the slightest, this is a winnable game and to set up so negatively is absolutely criminal. This is all the hallmarks of Puel, poor team selections, concede the game in the first half then make the subs to correct the mistake and see a half arsed attempt to save the result in the 2nd half, which masks what is rank bad management and a man so far out of his depth tactically. His brand of negative fearful football is already stinking the gaff out, it isn’t grinding out results, it’s tedious and frustrating as we are letting opportunities to win points slip our grasp by showing teams way too much respect. This is pure damage limitation, he knows this wasn’t a universally popular appointment and it seems he is setting us up to try and avoid a hammering, he knows if we lose a couple convincingly he will be under severe pressure. Lose by the odd goal but barely a whimper of an attack and he will probably get away with it for a few more games. Honking mentality.

If we do get rid I have a horrible feeling we will go for Southgate.
-
It does make me wonder if many at the club are regretting the decision after seeing him at work and this has been ‘leaked’ by someone to start to sow the seeds of justifying a very early parting of the ways. I have no doubt that the fact we no longer have the threat of the points deduction looming over us will make us a more attractive proposition, it has always felt that Cooper was a bit of a panic/short term cheap appointment and I do wonder if this is paving the way for us to move forward with a more progressive and ambitious coach.
-
Wow this is pretty damning and it would appear the writing is on the wall even at this early stage, interesting it has been leaked seems very similar to Ranieri’s last days and also Puel where players were clearly not happy with the methods, tactics and man management. it’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out, just hope the club act quickly and decisively if required as we can ill afford to sit back and do nothing until it’s too late

Soumaré - Sevilla currently - They have no cash

Would this mean we would have 2 potential spare spaces in our 25 man squad if we were able to move him on? -
This is great news and should give the whole club a massive lift, however we need to remember our get out of jail free card is on the basis of a legal technicality, therefore this shouldn’t exonerate any one at the club who has been complicit in us breaching the rules. People still need to be accountable however I fear this will now just be swept under the carpet and the club carries on its merry way. There is still many many things that need to change both on and off the field at our club, so yes of course it’s a massive cause of celebration, but remains a hollow victory. Interestingly this is now no longer a free hit for Cooper so does this release or increase the pressure on him. Whilst we have got away this, we will now be a marked club with both the EPL and EFL waiting to bury us at the earliest opportunity therefore we have to get our house in order and quickly. We have won this battle now we have to be at the top of our game to win the war.

Hi everyone, you may remember last October I participated in the Prostate United Challenge of running 5km each and every day throughout October, this year in my infinite wisdom I have signed up again and will be running 31 x 5km this October. In will be running for team Leicester City to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer Uk which is an amazing cause. Last year this forum was a great source of support and I was shocked by the level of engagement I received, it was really humbling how many people reached out with their own personal experiences. Please see the link to my just giving page if you can spare a donation, if not please just give this a thread a follow and give us a like or comment to help me through the challenge. https://click.contact.justgiving.com/?qs=c36de5a6435f3423dc58b6f10619805796a37ce0bbc1c9b0ae525c6c0e218d0b887c4090f18a592fa569d362634172ea3e82e525df183713.

Leicester 1 - 2 Villa POST MATCH

Errrrrrrr Facundo -
However managed to start the game on Tuesday night and despite having a niggle continues to be named on the bench, makes no sense whatsoever. He has been largely out of favour since his mistake cost a goal against Palermo. Cooper is stubborn with his view of wanting to attack with his left sided full back rather than just flip his tactic and use the right hand side. His seeming obsession with not selecting Mavididi in the starting line up in the prem is equally concerning. He prefers work horses over quality hence our complete lack of creativity and attacking intent in most 1st half performances.
