I thought it was arguably our best team performance of the season with every player 7 or above.
It was as convincing a 1-0 win as you could hope for. It is going to be like yesterday most home games with teams setting up to avoid a completely demoralising thumping, it is purely damage limitation, much in the same way prem teams go to Man City with a view to not winning the game but trying to keep the score down to something acceptable.
Their keeper made a couple of very good saves, they put bodies on the line in defensive areas and we made some poor decisions with final ball/end product which restricted us to just the one, on another day it could have been 4 or 5.
We were horrible to play against yesterday, controlled and dominate in possession and when out of possession we pressed the life out of them and won the ball back so quickly, for most of the game it was like a defence vs attack training drill, Bristol looked dead on their feet by the end.
If we can get an early goal against these teams then I can see us battering a few but most likely it will be 1 or 2 nil wins at home, where we completely boss the game but have to break down a 11 man wall.
