So given all the complaints about the increased size of this world cup: a) Are the 32 teams after the group stage what we'd expect for a 32 round tournament anyway, so all people are complaining about is having to watch MOAR FOOTBALL? b) We have some outsiders/underdogs in the 32 team round of this world cup, which makes a greater-number format worthwhile having from a competitive point of view?
