What are we judging Skipp by? If its anything before 2023 standards of course he's shit, if we are dealing with reality that we are in 2026 and the last 3 years have happened, he's probably 3 or 4th name on the team sheet for me, that's where we are.

I looked at it and thought Mavididi as the striker, Silko as the winger seems the most logical to me from the lineup.

Its the rest of the teams job to keep the team in the game long enough for those individual moments to matter, we won a premiership on that same process. How many goals are free flowing play where all 11 players touch the ball? That's the nature of any team, there are star performers who don't do a lot for large moments then have that genius moment, there are also others who do far more in total to affect the team, but don't have that high performance ceiling.

It's very cliche, but how would we approach this if it was 0-0 at HT? I'm really happy with that, there's been a mental fragility at the club for probably 5 years, I remember being 2-0 up in the prem against Brighton and not feeling confident and in that game we threw it away to finish 2-2. We have done the same in 3 games this season Wrexham, Portsmouth and Boro, I liked the subs Thomas added something, Choudary while brain dead added a bit of grit, Skipp I thought was very good, I'd put Begovic back in goal Stolarcyk looked a bit of a car crash. We have managed to hold two leads in recent games Stoke and Today, there's a lot still to work on but we dug in, had far better game management to break up the play 7/10 for me that.

How has Mavididi not scored, a decent striker and we probably win today 3-0. Should have been 2-0 up in 5 minutes and then you control the game and possession from there you can't blame Marti for some of it today, I'd have to give Evans or somebody else a chance at this rate.

It's about creating momentum, the last 5 years or so it has felt like we start the season better than we finish it prem relegation season aside. It would be nice to do it the other way this year. The summer flys by when you have finished strongly, when you Peter to a slow finish the start of the next season feels like a drag. It's percentages if the striker or player is through on goal and a tackle needs to be made sure, if they are near the corner flag with no apparent danger why make a tackle? We see it all the time in the game tackles not attempted as the odds of winning the ball are less, ideally you win the ball without leaving the opponent on the floor if there isn't any imminent danger. The FA principles of play are delay, press, compact, cover, balance control and restraint. Its about winning the ball while not affecting the rest of the teams shape and from a place where you can counter, most defending in a game is usually not about winning the ball unless the opportunity is right to do so.

I thought in the first half Monga got some questionable favourable decisions while Swansea had a couple decisions which went against them around that period. When Monga proceeded to go to ground at every opportunity those decisions changed to no free kicks late first half and the 2nd half. I agree Faes or anybody else there doesn't need to make that tackle, I did think he looked good on the ball and is a good defender for us at this level as is Vestergaard.

First game I've went to for nearly 2 years. I don't know what it was yesterday but I didn't feel that joy, I used to feel when we scored. The last game I went to was the Cardiff away game in the last championship season, both times sat in the home section but when KDH scored that first goal in that evening it was a lot harder to control my emotions than yesterday, hopefully Marti can bring that identity and connection back to the team, regardless of what division we are in, I want to see that connection again, there were signs of a start of it at the final whistle between fans and the players.

It's a bad decision whoever attempts that tackle, a defender should always stay on their feet where possible.

12 goals for KDH 2 years ago it's a realistic target for JJ, he's 4 years younger than KDH was and when you look at the buy fee compared to what we got for KDH has to be done.

Sheffield Wednesday we did enough to win, Birmingham has been the best performance this season, I thought we looked in control there. The level has massively dropped sure, a 2nd season in the championship wouldn't be a bad thing long term we'd make that year back in the next 3-4 years.

The great reset is needed sell the best players move on the dead wood, Stolorcyk is the only one that falls into neither camp for me, the whole thing needs a mentality shift I don't wanna see more than 2 players from this team starting the first championship game next season.
