Goals are usually minimum of three mistakes, unless it's a worldly, and there's your three.

Why is everything JJs fault? Push the shot round the post for a corner, there shouldn't be a follow up.

I thought we did alright against Arsenal, it's always going to be the same game plan against the big teams absorb pressure and try to strike on the break.

I know £10 mil isn't a lot these days but we have 5 players on that pitch that we have paid above that for Kristiansson, Soumare, Skipp, Vestegaard and Daka. Everyone else tho they may also not be good enough have at least proved they are at one time in the premiership or we paid less than £10 mil for. Soumare I actually think is the best of that 5 and I think in a better team he'd look a lot better.

I take it as far back as Winks losing the ball then hitting the bar from Salah, and yes we then break after and could of done better, the initial momentum tho swings from Winks losing it when it was easier to keep it.

Both of them same window

7/8 years is a bit of a stretch we did have a great window in summer 2018, where we signed Jonny Evans, Ricardo, Madison, Soyunchu, 4 starters in any window is awesome but yeah I agree most windows have been bad, also that summer we did sign Ghezzel, Ward, Benkovic.

If that happens there's only 1 place he leaves for and that's Old Trafford. For him to stay 5 years, he will have had to have been successful enough for us to want to keep him, and that would probably mean turning down around 3 job approaches between now and then from possibly Newcastle/Villa/Spurs level sides. For him to do that we'd need to almost be back to where we were. -

I think the lift it brings, the first thing I noticed when I looked at the table now was Fulham in 10th, 6 points above us, this guy's a winner, he doesn't wanna be involved in relegation battles. I think there will be money in January, I think Top has finally woken up like Ric Flair said on the podcast. I don't think Ruud will be drawn into answering any questions about seasons expectations, it will be like going back to 2016 again when they kept asking about the title, I'm convinced he will keep saying one game at a time keep building at least for the rest of this season. -

Seems clear to me the tactics 4-4-2 compact defending, 3 box 3 he said in pre match v West ham so 3-4-3. Likes a mid block can go to a low block if needed Mads is a great keeper to have as that sweeper keeper when the ball gets played in the space left behind from a mid block. Mads Justin Coady Vestegaard Okoli Winks Skipp Buonette Mavididi Daka Vardy Justin pushes up in possession as hes more athletic, against the better teams Kristiansson plays as I think he's more defensively stable but offers less going forward. Ndidi can come in for Skipp if we are playing a more Physical team, Soumare gets a fresh chance to show those glimpses he's shown for maybe less than 2 hours combined in his whole Leicester career. Get more attacking players on the pitch create more chances, but respect when are playing (far far) superior opposition which is probably once a month on average between now and the end of this season that you won't have as much possession pragmatism is needed. In summary Attacking where possible but pragmatic and realistic where needed which has been missing for most of the last 2 years. Last season was great, Enzo done some good work, but it hard to know how much of that was the player quality and how much was tactics, I'd probably say 70% player quality 30% tactics. Also looks like a lot of time will be spent on the training pitch in defending 1v1 positions as well as the compact unit of the team. -

We won the league after being bottom a year before momentum goes a long way in football. It is possible to improve players with coaching, currently we have Mads, Winks and Vardy that are good enough. Improve 3-4 players between now and January and it gives the owners faith to spend a bit of money on 2-3 players, get rid of Edouard and get a different loan in, maybe someone steps up from the youth team if given a chance. -

I don't think there's a lot in this league between 9th-17th ability wise, a mentality shift definitely needed. I like what he has said about going out to win every game, u could see with Maresca last season when we played Liverpool he relished the opportunity to compete against a better team, this season we have just set up to minimise the damage against Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Man utd -
Ruud isn't qualified to do that nobody is really, what you do is change morale, look at what Shakespeare did (rip) against Liverpool a few years ago against Liverpool when Ranieri left.
-
Connor Coady, I think, we need a leader at the back and as long as we play to players strengths, he has a fresh opportunity to try and actually getting into the starting line up for a run of games starting today.
-
I heard moans behind me in KP when we drew to Bournemouth 0-0 in the title season, when Mahrez missed a penalty. We were top of the league and I heard moans.
-
I said about two years ago to a West ham mate at the time a swap between Rogers/Moyes would have been a good thing for both clubs, but had that happened they definitely wouldn't have won the European trophy.
-
Point remains this team gets goals most weeks aside from today, if u can keep a clean sheet or concede 1, you only need to score once to get at least a point, we are conceeding pretty much 2 a game average, so need to score 2 or 3 to get point(s)
-
Moyes isn't exactly positive, we need someone who can organise a defence, we are one of two teams in the league that has scored in every league game so far.
-
I think we could get Southgate who is more proven than Carsley. Potter doesn't wanna come, Moyes is a decent shout and would come, Mancini is also interesting.
-
Great point, I never understood why the ironing of everything had to be so precise in the Army, it isn't about the clothes, it's about instilling high standards and discipline, making individuals take responsibility for their own actions and as you say the coach is the one responsible for this

That's where KDH was 2 1/2 years ago with Leicester, so I've no doubts he's at least still at that level after a successful championship season that boosted his confidence. I don't care what most say there isn't as much of a gap between 8th and the top of the championship. We've gone backwards in the last 3 years and brighton have pushed on, they were 16th 3 years ago, things can change quickly in both directions.
-
We didn't have much fight last season when games got tough, Leeds, Plymouth, Millwall spring to mind, we could be performing a heck of a lot better, but to put the fight all down to the players when that hasn't been the case at times with the same players in the last 1-2 seasons is a bit of a stretch.
-
I think we get 5 points out of those games, from Brentford, West ham, Brighton 2 draws and a win
-
We didn't beat them twice last season with a better manager, it isn't just the tactics that undone us in the last two games, we actually have a little of what Ipswich had last season in the championship, which is scoring late goals. We have rescued 3 points in the last 3 games in injury time, while I don't rate Cooper that highly Maresca or Rogers weren't able to leave me feeling like we had a chance of rescuing something in injury time, whereas this season and today, I wasn't surprised when we equalised, I expected it. If I did so did the players, that ability to fight til the end is something we haven't had for about 3 years before this season.

Surely there's some Karma with the 2 injury goals they hit us for last season?
