  1. He's been closer to the level required than Ricardo in the last 3 years (championship doesn't count).
  2. Much like the England team did in 2016
  3. I think this team can score a goal, it needs someone that can organise a defence, that's worked with high profile players but still has a lot to prove and won't get a top job until he does prove he's adequate in the premiership, step forward Gareth Southgate, seems exactly like the sort of guy the owners would employ.
  4. While I agree with this, we didn't look very threatening from attacks and the defence looks like it will concede 2 a game. Feels a lot like Pearson 14/15 where we stay in games pick up the odd win but lose the majority of games by 1 or 2 goals. Which is an improvement on 22/23 where we got smashed by Brighton and Spurs in back to back weekends.
  5. Ipswich is a must win, that run of 6 fixtures between Man utd and Newcastle away before Wolves on 22nd December, on last nights showing makes it hard to believe we get a point from those 18 points available.
  6. Contract expires June 2026, you'd expect at this rate he will just be released. I don't see any transfer fee being retrieved.
  7. How bad must Coady be? We look like a team void of any leadership on the pitch. I'd always prefer my captain to be either a centre half or centre midfielder ideally. Of what is in the starting line up you see why Vardy gets the nod as captain, but I can't help but think that's what Coady was signed for.
  8. Utter rubbish Nuno isnt a genius, you concede 3 Sunday league goals and you could have Pep in the dugout it wouldn't make a difference.
  9. All 3 goals I'd be pissed off with if a team I played for conceded in a Sunday league game never mind the premiership, you can't put those mistakes on coaching surely???
  10. Which aren't really down to tactics, perhaps another manager instills more confidence into them to make better decisions, but they really look shaky in possession in the defensive 3rd with any sort of press.
  11. Due to probably not being at the level in training. He's better than VK but way of the level gone from one of the best players in the team to one of the worst. He's technically probably in the top 5 on that pitch, a Portugal international, we are playing Forest not real Madrid, he's missed 6 games, he's trained and played most of last season.
  12. Maybe there's a reason he hasn't been playing or got a transfer away. He isn't the Ricky of 3-4 years ago. Ndidi and Vardy aren't either but the drop of isn't as vast. Ndidi has done some good stuff that first half.
  13. They haven't been great, we need a full back ideally one that can play both sides, Forest are a bottom half club, we will play against far better wingers. Hopefully one of either Justin or Ricardo plays themselves into form but I can't see both doing it.
  14. He's been our joint worst player with Justin, they both look ropey
  15. I just looked up possession stats notice we are 4th bottom, forest are 2nd bottom. I then noticed a stat touches in the defensive third interest to see Chelsea are 3rd highest and we are 4th, I'd say that speaks volumes.
  16. That comment just reminded me of that absolute borefest we played against them 2 years ago 0-0, where they came for a draw and we seemed content with that for whatever reason.
  17. These stats are a little flawed but the stat is being 2 goals down at HT, in the man utd game it was 2-1 at HT, they then scored in the second half to go 3-1 and we scored 4 after that
  18. It was like watching Leicester against Millwall or Plymouth last season that last 30 minutes against Liverpool yesterday, so unlikely to score and still kept doing the same things over and over.
  19. I think that's the plan, 17th for most goals conceded and try to win
  20. Arsenal should have more or a chance of winning a game 1 player down against Bournemouth than we do 2 goals down against anyone. We haven't ever done it before Saturday in the premiership being 2 goals down at HT. The only 1 I could ever think of was the 3-2 Villa win in the league winning season, it was 1-0 at HT in that game.
  21. Pay them a loan fee of £2-£3 million if he isn't getting a look in by January. 6 year contract he has so that £5 mil a year, and your talking half a season.
  22. There really is the possibility this season of finishing anywhere between 10th and 18th.
  23. I think the players 2 years ago, were a weaker mentality and also just thought, it doesn't matter we can just win the next game. This teams expectations are far lower, relegation battling teams that are expected to be in a relegation battle just have different mindsets than those that get unexpectedly dragged into, the likes of Palace, Everton, Wolves would surely not been surprised to have been bottom half of the table in the last 3 seasons.
  24. I love that it's Jordan Ayew that's scored the winner, so I rate him? Not really, that sort of result is the reason I love Leicester city, we lost it for so long that ability to come back, Cooper has a lot of areas to work on but you could probably count on 1 hand the amount of times we have came from behind to win in the last 3 years never mind 2 goals.
  25. Brighton is the best example of a team coming up but eventually wanting to kick on and getting rid of Chris Houghton for Graham Potter. Houghton served his purpose hopefully Cooper can serve a similar role for us, I don't think Espirito Santos is that massive kick on for Forest either long term. Bournemouth have also made that progressive decision moving O'Neill on but he also massively served the purpose for Bournemouth 2 years ago, laying the foundations for where they are looking to move. Villa just skipped levels going from Gerrard to Emery, Newcastle had money so they were able to move levels from Bruce to Howe.
