Fair point. I would rather have him in the matchday squad at the minute rather than two keepers on the bench.
-
Not sure why you felt the need to open up old wounds by posting that.
-
So sorry, I got Yates and Worrall mixed up. My bad!
-
Them and Palace are easily to the two worst teams to watch.
-
Did you watch the game? He defi itely played was one of the main talking points because he was trying to pick a fight with everyone!
-
Exactly what Cooper has done since Forest have been in the Premier League.
-
Eustace had Birmingham in 6th, Forest have 1 win from 13 games. There is no comparison here. Cooper was by no means overachieving.
-
I wonder how he gets on with their midfield. At Wolves he had very good midfielders. On Friday Forest were playing with cloggers like Worrall and Kouyate.
-
Yeah, if they beat Bournemouth on Saturday then there will be clear distance between them and the bottom three.
-
I watched them on Friday and they were very committed but the football was poor. They looked like a modern Stoke on Tony Pulis. Wolves played decent football under Nuno for a couple of years but had very good players in Neves, Moutinho, Jota, Jiminez etc. Towards the end they looked very turgid though.
-
I can't decide if that's a good appointment or not. The issue for him is there will be discontent if he doesn't start well. Their game on Saturday at home against Bournemouth is massive. Lose that and they're in trouble.

It's crazy, I'd have said at the start of the season that we had an embarrassment of riches upfront for the level we are playing at. I'd now agree that it is the area that needs to be addressing more than any other moving forward. I don't think we need a new striker in January, mind.
-
Southampton don't play us, Leeds or Ipswich until the last ten games of the season. They have a real chance with their fixture list to put a very good run together.
-
It's worth noting that their game will be finished by the time we play.
-
Just me that's has been quite encouraged by his cameos then?
-
15 more wins and we hit 100 points. I think our fixtures in the second half of the season are more difficult on paper than the first as we have to play Ipswich twice, Leeds away, Hull away, Sunderland away and Cov away but hopefully we can do it!
-
Seeing recently how devastating we can be on the counter does give me more hope about next season should we go up because we will undoubtedly see less of the ball. We absolutely have to be better without the ball though should we go up.
-
I watched the interview too. This is a broader point, but I think people need to take what he says with a pinch of salt sometimes. He's shown in the time that he's been here that he's actually more flexible and pragmatic than his interviews suggest. Against Sunderland he was advising Hermansen to go long, against Plymouth he also was hitting long balls for Daka/Fatawu, he shown that he us willing to use Souttar when the other team are lumping balls into the box to target men. He made formation He obviously has a preferred system, but he's shown in games against Preston and Milwall that he's willing to make tweaks to the formation to get the win. When he says things like "we are born with this idea, we'll die with this idea" I think it's putting up a front. The idea that we have played the same way all season is a myth.

Birmingham City (A) 2-3 Leicester - Post-Match Thread
BenTheFox replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
We really made that much more stressful than what was necessary. However, some of the football going forward was scintillating. I just hope we can cut the sloppiness out. -
To be honest, my biggest criticism of them isn't so much their numbers in terms of goals/assists, although I did exoect nore from Iheanacho, I mist admit. It's more their link-up play and how they are involved in the build-up which has been lacking. The lack of respect that poster had shown towards Vardy in particular was ridiculous though.
-
Just seen Southampton's next few fixtures. Difficult to see them dropping many points.
-
I was scoffed at for suggesting that we bring in Sean Dyche last season before Everton did. If we did, I'm confident we would be back to being a comfortable mid-table premier league side by now. Brilliant manager.
-
I watched the second half of West Brom vs Stoke. My god, it was awful!
-
I don't get the mentality of people wanting Ipswich to push us. I'd rather be 20 points clear of everyone.
-
Barnes is offside there imo. However, Hirst is all over Duffy from the throw.
