Hate to correct you. It was a RvN team selection and performance. Yes, I know, I'm being facetious. Apologies. But actually, I'm trying to make the point that many on here are still trying to blame or actually blaming Cooper - "his signings, his tactics seemingly still pervading and infecting players' mind sets etc." He left and we see the same patterns, and it's not him obviously. The fact is we've ended up in this position because of a gross dereliction of duty by those running the club. RvN was a big name, Cooper they thought had relevant experience etc etc. I still think we can get out of this but upstairs need to pull their heads out of their arses.

All the teams at the bottom are poor. Still chance to get some better replacements in in key positions and just be more responsive in games. We are not adrift by a long chalk.

There was always a player in there. Rodgers never had any interest in developing and nurturing a guy who was a young player in a different country. Maresca for some reason didn't want to know. Sadly, I think we'll possibly make a mistake in discarding Okoli too quickly.

Don't disagree. But they had that tackling ability. Coady and Faes are clumsy at the very best. Vestergaard runs away.

Van Dijk, Moore, Beckenbauer, Baresi, etc. All great tackling CBs. I want my defenders to tackle where needed. Don't think they have/had much else going wrong...

Funny how many people don't rate CBs who can actually tackle. 🤔
