I used to do the odd house clearance. And sometimes we’d get half decent stuff, that we didn’t really want to skip, as seemed a shame to throw a perfectly good sofa, cupboard, bed etc away. It was surprisingly hard to get rid off. Mainly because health and safety. Fire regulations etc. Used to be more bother in end trying to get someone to take it. There was a place that took furniture for homeless starting up in new accommodation, that seemed a little more lenient but can’t remember there name sorry.
