  1. Fabio Grosso. Current coach of Sassuolo, who will be promoted to Serie A…I’d take him too.
  2. He’s excellent. Teams play above their grade with him. I’d be happy. Unfortunately I doubt he’d come to the championship.
  3. Let’s hope not…
  4. Cesc Fàbregas seems to be a demon in taking mediocre teams up. He did wonders in Como.
  5. Sad actually. Couldn’t even get enough to stay just above relegation
  6. I would like to see someone like Roberto De Zerbi. He did very well with Brighton in 22-24 seasons, getting Brighton into Europa for their first time. Furthermore this year, he’s managed Marseille to a second seat in the French Ligue 1. It seems he might be available soon!
  7. It seems you never know? In 2025 a retired Ranieri was asked by AS Roma to come back to help them with an abysmal start of the season. The team was in 12th place falling ever backwards. Ranieri said that there would be few teams that could pull him out of retirement, Roma being one. The team currently is in 5th place just 3 points behind Juventus. Good to see the old manager doing well.
  8. I’m optimistic only because there are some really bad teams out there. We’ll see soon enough.
  9. I’m willing to give him a chance. He’s not your average British manager (which right now I have little confidence in). He’s learned much from Jose Segura, who has shown to be a good tactician. So, let’s hope he does well. He may surprise us.
  10. I’d love Sarri. He’s a systems manager. He’s absolutely a genial manager. The only issue is that he needs, not the best players, but specific players that understand his system. At Napoli he did not have the best, but he had ones that could execute his tactics. At Chelsea he had too many primadonnas to be effective ( he still came in third).
  11. We’re the victims of his success.
  12. I would live someone like Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz of Girona in the Spanish la liga come here. He’s young, made a fair team reach 3d place in la liga. He’d be a real threat to anyone here in the Prem.
  13. Honestly upset. I was hoping he’d go and improve the team. Now it’s another rebuild, which happens every time you get a new manager. It’s inevitable.
  14. I seriously don’t think he’d take the Sevilla job. Sevilla isn’t the type of team he would take over being in the Prem. On the other hand Ajax is considered by Italians in general as a top European team (even if it hasn’t accomplished much in recent decades). It has mythical status. Italians remember well Ajax and Cruyff, and loved that team. I suspect if Ajax came for him he’ll take it. I doubt anything else.
  15. Enzo Out!
  16. Only Ipswich can pass Leicester. Leeds cannot catch us. So the worst we can do is second place, which means we go up anyway. So that’s that. We’re in the prem again.
  17. We’re ready to kick a manager who actually has us into guaranteed promotion? We’ve already gotten rid of good managers for lousy ones, with everyone cheering at the change. Enzo is a good manager. He’ll only get better and personally think he’s had enough experience as a player and assistant to learn from some of the best and most innovative managers around. This is total nonsense. We will get some manager that gives us the initial bump and then go south again.
  18. Honestly, where do they find these refs? Good win.
  19. Perhaps Cesare Casadei was our Rabbit’s Foot? It all went south when he left…
  20. Bell End or Nostradamus?
  21. IMO all this talk about boring football is nonsense. True, you don’t have the long ball (that’s a good thing), you plan, you possess, you tactically move the ball looking for openings…it’s more of a chess match. We’re used to in Britain this counterattack that evolves in seconds, and that’s a shame. The rest of the world has moved on.
  22. He was a real hero, and outstanding person and one of the great footballers of his time!
  23. To those People who are happy he’s gone; I suggest taking up tiddlywinks (and start a forum too) because you know nothing about football.
  24. I’m not sure playing only 36 matches in English football is really enough to say he’s had experience.
  25. Shocked at some of the replies. He’s scored two goals and one at the Cup. He’s just turned 21. He gives us an aerial advantage, which is clearly not a common here. He’s has an impressive early playing history…and now he’s not even good enough for the championship? Casadei is clearly learning English Football, which is quite different from others he’s accustomed to. I remember when Rush went to Juventus in the 80’s and couldn’t score a goal to save his life. People need to adapt. That’s a fact!
