  1. Good win with minimal expenditure of energy
  2. A bit sloppy for the last 15 or so, not much ambition
  3. The notebook containing all their passwords
  4. Said earlier that it is still a good result, but could so easily have been much better. Sat back too much in the second half giving them the initiative, and then compounded the problem by taking off our two most industrious ball winners. Yes, they need a rest, but should have got Choudhury on.
  5. Disappointing end, but still a good away result. Lucky goal.
  6. Not convinced by Coady
  7. Mavididi is really stepping up now. Got a lot of unfair criticism earlier on in the season in my opinion.
  8. Back foot start. Need to get the passing game going.
  9. Bit of a lack of pace at the back
  10. Love his marauding runs
  11. Scheduled for 3.45 am out here in Perth, Australia
  12. Dumping Biden now would leave him as a lame duck president for the rest of his term. Is it likely that instead there’ll be an attempt later on in 2024? I seem to remember a “Dump Carter” move late in his tenure (unsuccessful). If so, who have they got? I take it Michelle Obama isn’t interested.
  13. Love the idea that he isn’t going to put up with any shit from anyone
  14. Oops, answered the wrong question. At first glance, thought it was referring to the PL winning side.
  15. Comfortable win and combined with the Leeds result, the best possible outcome for our standing in the table. I hope we can follow it up with at least a draw vs Ipswich.
  16. We seem rather predictable and Fatawu isn’t getting much joy on the right. Nice to see KDH attempt a right foot shot, but he needs a bit more practice.
  17. If Nacho thinks he’s got something lined up for when he’s run his contract down, he’s likely to be less and less arsed to do much for us for the rest of the season. He’ll be much more interested in not getting any serious injuries. Best to cash in for whatever we can get.
  18. Isn’t it the courts/legal system that would bar him and not the government? Isn’t that why there’s a separation of powers?
  19. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/dec/21/is-barring-trump-from-office-undemocratic Sincerely hope it all works out. Trump’s re-election would undoubtedly be a disaster for democracy in the US.
  20. I don’t disagree, I just think it won’t work. Firstly it will almost certainly be struck down by the Federal court. Secondly it will probably increase his support.
  21. Not sure if trying to prevent Trump from running in the election (Colorado Supreme Court decision) is a good idea. It will almost certainly backfire because it plays into the hands of his gullible supporters that there is a conspiracy against him. Of course in a sane world, after the insurrection and all the crap he comes out with, he deserves to be behind bars (which ought to be enough to disqualify him from running). However while he (against all logic), retains popularity, he has to be stopped politically (by defeat in an election), not by the courts.
  22. Probably all been said but the Leeds Ipswich match result can be viewed optimistically regardless of result. Leeds win - gives us the chance to go further ahead of Ipswich while still leaving plenty of gap to Leeds. Ipswich win - puts more space between the top 2 and the chasing pack making automatic promotion more likely Draw - opportunity to forge further ahead of both of them Obvious downsides to the this as well so I dunno
