Started this half better

Interesting review of solar panel recycling. Good to see that there are efforts to develop the tech required.

Confess that I don’t know anything about the Hawking theory (that Black Holes could account for Dark Matter) other than what is in the article. If I recall Dark Matter behaves more like a cloud of gas around galaxies that doesn’t interact with normal matter except via gravity. Presumably it doesn’t interact with itself either or would tend to aggregate into lumps? Also I thought that really tiny Black Holes evaporate quite quickly due to Hawking Radiation so I wouldn’t have thought that this fits the profile for Dark Matter as lots of tiny black holes personally. However, there don’t seem any objections on such grounds so obviously I’m wrong, and if there’s anyone that ought to know something about Hawking Radiation it’s Stephen Hawking 😂 The second article from yesterday’s Guardian about the discovery of a huge black hole apparently in existence relatively shortly after the Big Bang suggests that it was created during the Big Bang itself, giving credence to a link between Black Holes and Dark Matter. Fascinating if the universe was born with holes in it.

I wonder if these are related. Seems like an almost obvious link (that you assume must have been ruled out for some reason) that primordial black holes and dark matter could be one and the same. https://news.yale.edu/2021/12/16/black-holes-and-dark-matter-are-they-one-and-same#:~:text=Primordial black holes created in,dark matter in the universe. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2023/dec/10/revealed-the-oldest-black-hole-ever-observed-dating-to-dawn-of-universe Edit: Just to add that I believe mapping of dark matter suggests that it is more diffuse than presumably could be explained by very large black holes.

People with large bellies and wearing string vests. My wife’s from Bermondsey but she won’t be reading this.

Someone tell me I’m wrong but I thought we played much more direct in the second half and looked the better for it. Brilliant win.

Much more positivity this half and rewards coming.

Fck me! Daka! Very un-Enzo like goal.

Thank fck we’re learning this playing style in the Championship because we’d get absolutely smashed by the lowliest of PL sides. We’ve created some brilliant chances but missed sitters. Mixed bag but should get a win.

Nervy moments at the back.

2 really good chances there. Got to take them.

Foxes Hub – The Place To Watch Leicester City Live!
WigstonWanderer replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not sure how people are getting on with FoxesHub now, but I’ve managed to log in via a browser using an Nvidia Shield/Android. I couldn’t manage to do this before and had to resort to an iPad. Also, the full screen button works and the quality looks pretty good 👍 Now watching on a 105” screen. -
Apparently not when it’s me playing one

Without wishing to open old arguments, it seemed more like “friendly” fire from a certain party. Anyway, nuff said.

I posted something similar a week or so back and was shot down for bizarre reasons that still baffle 😂

I’ll be visiting the uk next year but wifey says I can’t bring my guitar I think she would actually die of cringe 😂
-
Thanks for the recommendation , but I’m in Perth, Australia 😀

Not sure I really trust him to be honest. Probably give someone else a go. Might have a fiddle anyway before doing so. I’d like to learn a bit more.
-
I can scarcely believe that a British citizen can’t marry whomever they choose and bring them to live in the uk, subject to a check that it isn’t a scam. I must be a bit naive.

Dream of having big daft hands 😂

I bought an Epiphone Les Paul earlier this year. I took it to a Luthier to just get the initial setup checked, but the strings now seems to buzz. I think maybe he’s set the action too low for my shit playing technique. Is it safe for me to fiddle around with or am I likely to do any permanent damage? I was thinking I’d have a go, might learn something. Take it to another luthier if I balls it up. Generally I find it much harder to play than my strat. The neck seems fatter particularly nearer the bridge and doesn’t suit my short fingers.

Just buy it. If the wife objects, just point to her shoes and handbags collection 😂

Also, sooner or later we would have run out of oil, or at least the rate of discovery would fail to keep up with demand, and so the price would increase causing an increasing drag on economies. Oil recovery would use (and is using) ever increasingly environmentally-damaging methods of recovery such as fracking. There are also political benefits of not being dependent on oil cartel states for supply. The switch away from fossil fuels is ultimately both inevitable and desirable.

They look like mine, short legs and long body 😂

Here’s the Guardian’s take on the same subject https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/dec/03/back-into-caves-cop28-president-dismisses-phase-out-of-fossil-fuels
