How much of a swing from Tory to Labour does this imply? I really can't see all that many historical Tory voters switching to Labour in this seat

Yeah I've seen that, that wasn't really my question though, I'm not going to vote Labour, so my choice is to either vote for who I want to, or not bother if it's going to be wasted.

Strong disagree!! AC is for people who like to sleep comfortably when it's over 30 degrees at night and who need a comfortable night's sleep to function for the next day of paid employment

My vote will be cast in Harborough, Oadby and Wigston, and for me it's between the Lib Dems and Greens. Does that constitute a wasted vote, given that the seat has been blue since forever, and Labour are always 2nd?

That's not a great analogy though is it? If you don't think she's racist, what is she? The big difference here is that I am not treated differently based on the colour of my skin in Spain, and that is what the lady is referring to. You can call it what you like, but that for me was racism, pure and simple. Most Asians in the UK speak English better than some on this forum, they work and pay taxes, she just doesn't like them because they are brown and all jihadis apparently, hell bent on bringing Sharia law to the UK. Personally I think she might be better looking at the reasons why generations of the same white families think it acceptable to just claim benefits and never work, but that's a whole different conversation

And that's obviously a complete demographic I hadn't considered, mainly because I didn't really realise they exist! Who are these poor thick people (your words, not mine!) who think the Tories will do right by them? From whom have they learned the behaviour to vote Conservative without question? And why do they not realise there maybe (and probably is) a better alternative? Are they absorbing the Daily Mail and GB News in their sleep by osmosis? So many questions
