  5. So we can twat them twice, yes me too
  6. It's pretty disheartening to see some of the responses here, some people must lead pretty perfect and sheltered lives if they can't see that some people end up in less than satisfactory places through no choice of their own. Whatever happened to empathy, and there but for the grace of God go I? It's not surprising that UK society is in the place it is if nobody really gives a shit about anyone else

  8. Christ, dipping into this thread is worse than when you accidentally click on some shit click bait from the Daily Mail
  9. @Ric FlairI'm too lazy to trawl through the thread but I'm sure you've made a Sicilian pizza before, can you share the recipe please? I'm desperate to find a decent homemade pizza recipe and pepperoni sicilian style is my favourite

  12. We like the western Algarve, Tavira is a lovely little fishing town, not too far from Faro airport. Monte Gordo is a beautiful stretch of beach nearer the Spanish border, and we like Vilamoura too, the other side of Faro. In the french riviera we loved Port Grimaud, it's built round canals a bit like Venice but much smaller, really lovely though and has a long sandy beach. Easy to get the boat across to St Tropez if you fancy it too.

  14. I'm watching the pictures of the Palestinians celebrating on the streets of Gaza that Hamas have agreed a ceasefire, whilst listening to the Israelis saying not only have they not agreed, but they are planning a ground offensive in Rafah, and I can't help wondering how many of the Palestinians will be dead in the coming days. Such a sad state of affairs that some of the western world are not only complicit in, but actually encouraging and funding.
  15. We love our Dyson cordless vacuum but all our floors are tiled, no idea how good it would be in a fully carpeted house.

  18. It would be great, but the club will never have it unfortunately, at least not until the expansion happens. Have you seen how many people have cried on here in the past about their bits of plastic that they don't own but somehow feel belongs to them? The club are too ready to pander to the needs of the types of people who make no contribution to the atmosphere sadly, despite the manager calling for it, and the club using it for SM likes on the occasions we are in the spotlight. So hypocritical of them to enjoy it when it suits them, but not do anything to assist the expansion of the section, but it's the times we live in unfortunately, the club are as far removed from the supporters as I can remember, and it's pretty shit.
  19. I am absolutely with you on the lack of atmosphere in areas down that end other than the singing section, but I'm interested in how we address the lack of atmosphere elsewhere? I used to sit in G1, and apart from a group of 5 lads who were keen, my daughter and I used to get very strange looks if we tried to start anything

  24. I really hope everyone here is able to enjoy our success at present, at least to some degree. I couldn't watch our games in the weeks after I lost Ellis, but I have come back to it, and I did enjoy last night. It's obviously tinged with a lot of sadness, sadness that he isn't here to witness it himself, sadness that I couldn't text him last night to share with him, memories of the night we won the PL and I opened a bottle of champagne with him and then we both went down to the KP. But my life has to go on whether I like it or not, and he wouldn't want me to be miserable. It's very easy to tell ourselves that though, and much harder to put in to practice. Sending lots of good vibes to everyone, we are stronger together and we will all be OK.
