  1. Ha, hope so, but definitely not counting those chickens!
  2. Spurs are absolute garbage, about time they were relegated.
  3. Not the worst bench I’ve have ever seen tbh. Brentford did defend really well today, but you would have expected a team in Villa’s position to have least got the equaliser, not that I am complaining! 😁 Ross Barkley 3Victor Lindelöf 40Marco Bizot 5Tyrone Mings 12Lucas Digne 53George Hemmings 24Amadou Onana
  4. Such a poor league this season summed up once more by 3rd placed Villa losing again at home this time to 10 men Brentford.
  5. Yes that would be bothering me too, if I lived in the US at the moment.
  6. There is a perfect reprinted critique of Trump on the Gen News thread posted earlier this morning. Sums him up completely.
  7. It’s a poor quality league this season, without a truly outstanding team and few consistently brilliant players. How are we 7 points clear and yet our top goal scorer has a mere 5 goals is mind boggling.
  8. Delighted of course, but can’t believe how bad Man City have been. They couldn’t complain being 4 nil down.
  9. “The looney left”, such a predictable response. Do better next time.
  10. 10 -1 win and he didn’t score. He’s clearly 💩. 🤪
  11. Certainly not happy with the hierarchy at the club. Not really surprising, 17th last season and sit currently 14th. 🥳
  12. The personalities of the leaders running some of the most populous countries in the world leads me to quote Iain Banks “The point is, there is no feasible excuse for what are, for what we have made of ourselves. We have chosen to put profits before people, money before morality, dividends before decency, fanaticism before fairness, and our own trivial comforts before the unspeakable agonies of others”.
  13. He’s actually been in charge for six years not eight. He was appointed in Dec 2019 and this should be his last season if we come up short again.
  14. Some over the top comments here based I suspect purely on dislike of Arsenal/Arteta. Martinelli made a mistake in the heat of the moment and promptly apologised for it. Nothing more to see. Gary Neville is an utter imbecile btw for these comments "Honestly, I don't know how the Liverpool players didn't go over there and whack him, to be honest with you, and take a red card. Absolutely disgraceful, that."
  15. A bit older than you I suspect, as this was the one I had in mind!
  16. It really was, the 2nd ever kit I was bought as a kid and probably my all time favourite Admiral kit. England’s was decent as well.
  17. Out of order, he should be apologising for that.
  18. Yes he does have a Goebbels vibe about him. His wife is just as bad.
  19. Won’t believe it unless it’s a mathematical certainty!
  20. Yes one of the best strikers of the early seventies in English football.
  21. Bizarre game between Man City and Brighton, could have ended 4-4. Man City fast becoming draw specialists.
  22. Him and every other **** in Trump’s cabinet. Detestable bunch the lot of them.
  23. Where’s Ole these days, can they get him back at the wheel.
  24. Has any manager lasted 2 years at Utd since Ferguson retired? Can’t be asked to look it up!
  25. Arteta is hard to like even for me. I think the main difference this season though is squad depth, which is the deepest I have ever known it and better than Man City’s. We still lack a clinical striker and that might cost us in some tight games. However, if we don’t win it this season we never will under this manager.
