Are there many people on here, that insist that visitors to their home remove their footwear at the front door? I had a falling out with a now ex employer, who I visited on a zero hours contract, to support their autistic teenage son at home during their absence. This employer, during some ‘interesting’ requested feedback said that I didn’t remove my footwear and implied that she had to clean up afterwards(she had wooden flooring throughout). The background is that I visited her house on eight occasions and for the first three visits she never mentioned the subject. On visit four she asked me to remove my boots which I did, even though they were clean (bear in mind this was over the summer and it hadn’t rained for weeks). On Visit five I did forget and she reminded me to do so. The last three occasions I actually remembered to do so, although she wrote me a reminder note and I brought some slippers as I hate going shoeless. If people were wearing muddy footwear in my house I wouldn’t like it, but otherwise would never insist they remove their footwear as a condition of entry.

He really held his nerve in that last visit, hitting the 100 needed after narrowly missing it in the previous leg. His A game is phenomenal and he will surely win the Worlds one day.

Well done Brentford, all credit to them considering the players they have lost recently. -

Liverpool look so vulnerable, that’s 13 goals already conceded. -
Chizzy had such a great chance on his leg to go through, but made a bit of a mess of it. 😩

Oops yes quite possibly.

Ross Smith against Chizzy could be a 180 feast.

The first ten minutes were quite shocking. I wanted to shake him by the neck and unless he had a complete change of personality it wasn’t going to work for me, but glad you liked it.

Tried to watch Cold Water as I like the main actor Andrew Lincoln, but half an episode in his character is so unlikeable I couldn’t finish it.

Add into that mix, that their two most consistent players over the last 7/8 years Salah and Van Dijk are 33 and 34 respectively and at some point their levels will drop. Is this that season? Losing three consecutive PL games is not a disaster at this early stage of the season, but they will have to turn it around really quickly, because even their earlier wins were not exactly convincing. -

Anyone on here that still believe that Postecoglou is actually a good manager? -
He managed Ostersunds for several seasons with some success, which then brought him to the attention of Swansea. Not sure why Sweden would be interested after his recent sackings though.

Do you like the north or the south better? 😂 -
Enjoying Dark Winds on Netflix, set in the 1970’s in New Mexico. Some stunning cinematography as to be expected.

The legend that was Roy Evans. The actor Tony Caunter was a familiar face on TV for many years. He was in one of my Mum’s favourite series of the seventies, Beryl’s Lot, you have to be old to remember that one! https://uk.news.yahoo.com/eastenders-actor-tony-caunter-dies-171629549.html -
Depressing that racism appears to have put a premature end to this England International’s playing career, but ultimately uplifting that he is training unprivileged kids and therefore still involved with the game he loves. I can’t seem to upload the link unfortunately.
