Well that was a 3-0 rout, not a shot on target for Chelsea and they equal a 104 yr record of losses without scoring. -
Thought they might have ended the series with the death a few years ago of producer Michael Apted It’s marvellous iconic television to follow people’s lives, for such a long period of time and I look forward to this latest instalment.

PL Title Winners

I said Man City weeks back, Arteta is not a winner. -

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Great reserve keeper for us and was a huge part of our double winning team of 1997/1998, where he played around 10 games in place of an injured Seaman. Think he kept something like 7/8 clean sheets in that spell. -
It’s bound to be a goal feast and a must watch for lovers of fast free flowing football.

I am sure that there are many people in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, let alone Iran who would disagree with you.

Arsenal should be going for him, as Arteta’s season looks as though it’s one defeat away to Man City from ending in massive disappointment. At least the football would be easier on the eye. -
Man City sadly.

What a marvellous table as it stands, well done West Ham. -
Loved the first series. Just found out that one of the leading actresses committed suicide a year or two back, so she will sadly be missing.

Rotterdam in two weeks, I’m sure Littler will get a warm reception!

Glad you got more enjoyment than I did watching Torquay ten years ago. I used to take a looked after child out on a Saturday and unfortunately for me he supported Torquay! I have to say they were horrendous and I was not that impressed with the general standard of the National League. He at least saw them beat FC United of Manchester in the FA Trophy to reach the semi final. It was strange to see terracing again I have to confess.

Strike a light, and I’ll go to the foot of our stairs. Both very similar idioms. -
Funny what bugs people. So many things about modern football annoy me, such as simulation, argy bargy at corners and the sheer corruption within the game, but I couldn’t give a toss about goal celebrations.

Appointing Rosenior was certainly left field. Bring back Potter I say, he never got a fair crack! -

Stevie Wonder, a musical genius and one of the happiest guys on the planet. Got to see him in concert at Wembley Arena in 1989 and his energy was incredible.
