The refs desire to let things go more this season has generally been a positive, but means more shit tackles like that Morsey one go completely unpunished.

I think the most impressive thing about them is how they've sorted out their defence this year. I think they've conceded 3 in this 12 game run with 11 wins. Really impressive and managing to balance the firepower up top with a solid defence. Hopefully we can restore the gap tomorrow!

This isn't really anything new is it? We're sailing close to the wind, we knew that, but aren't going to put a business plan together for EFL because we don't have to - as independently confirmed.

Would normally go for the cup but I think getting back to the Prem and aiming to establish ourselves there again is the route to regularly challenging for trophies. So would go for promotion.

I don't think it's about feeling tired so much as the levels will drop say 5% and that can be enough of a difference. They can all run around for 90 mins twice a week, but not at the intensity required for best results.

It's a long slog of a season and you can't be brilliant for all of it. I felt like he rotated and managed fatigue better earlier in the season which meant we were fresher later on. I think short term it's about getting to that international break now. Refocus for the run in.

They're very patchy at home and will have similar pressure with the likes of Coventry and Norwich providing the pressure. Don't think we were good tonight but it broke the losing streak and hopefully that clears the mood a bit. Win would be huge psychologically as it would keep us top over the international break...though it will be interesting to see what the table looks like at kickoff with Leeds and Ipswich playing before us. I think 6 more wins sees us promoted and probably champions; be nice to tick another off.

We played well against Leeds. We got 0 points. We played crap against Sunderland, we got 3 points. Would rather the latter at the moment but wow that wasn't pretty.
