  1. He'd look like a absolute mug if he complained about the January window. 4 strikers most of the league would be happy having 1 of. Probably the best 8 in the division. £10m Coady on the bench. Yunus never used. He's got the tools.
  2. It's an important time now. He's missed a few easy chances since coming back from AFCON and it has coincided with a couple of losses. His all round play is good though and the fact he got into these positions is a positive. I'd start him against Bournemouth and QPR and give him a chance to rectify.
  3. All that will matter is the one at the end though. It's being the best over 46 games. If you'd looked at the start of the year then Leeds had just come off a very poor December.
  4. Surely it would be more delusional to claim we're not top of the league?
  5. The fact that their fixtures are tough could be spun as a positive for Saints now. Those games away at Leeds, Us, and Ipswich gives them some control over how rivals do. They must be resigned to playoffs now though.
  6. The thread on wanting us to lose so they can win the title, followed by decreasing optimism as they lose to Hull and Millwall is sublime.
  7. Would be great to see us use it as motivation for the run in. Can't see us winning 12 in a row though. Would be a ridiculous run and even if we did there'd be the standard blip after confirming promotion.
  8. I was worried it might end up a little like the first game at our place, close affair with Leeds edging it. But I thought it was such an improvement from our first showing. Result may have been worse, but I thought there was a lot to be encouraged about.
  9. This was the whole benefit of the buffer, for when this happened. Leeds have won 9 in a row, we've lost 3 and drew 1 in that time. And at the end of these runs...the gap is still 6. Now is the time to refocus and get the job done, which I still believe we will pretty comfortably.
  10. Tbf xG would exclude the Daka shot for being offside which would have been a good sum.
  11. We're going up. Calm down.
  12. The Daka issue is not just tonight. That's a few good chances he has missed since he's been back from AFCON.
  13. Overreaction of the night trophy has been claimed.
  14. I'm ****ing fuming like everyone else. Results like that get under your skin and won't budge. But...we actually played well tonight I thought. The hardest fixture on paper and we were by far the better side. The last two goals being deflections make it look comfortable the other way but we should have been out of sight. Poor finishing needs addressing but I thought, overall, that we turned up tonight. Oh and we'll win the league.
  15. He was good for 60 or so mins versus Sheff Weds but didn't hit those levels yesterday. Having said that I don't think anyone did and we seemed to have a collective off day. I don't think Praet is the problem, but not sure he's the solution either. Looking forward to Ndidi getting back. Radio Leicester were questioning whether he'd get a new contract this summer. There's absolutely no way we should offer him a new contract when we might finally get him off the books!
  16. So many got up to leave when Vardy missed the sitter and then had to work out whether to turn back as the goal went in. Was hilarious.
  17. This definitely won't be shot down for being negative, you sound really positive.
  18. They've really sorted out their defence on this run, only conceding 1 goal is really impressive and we've now conceded as many goals as they have this season.
  19. Can't be having them have an unbeaten season at home. Go and win and put it to bed. Probably the only game this season we'll start as second favourites. Really interested to see our approach. Expecting Leeds to be more proactive than they were in the game at our place.
  20. They were lucky Vardy missed from about 4 yards. It was a good performance that relied on a little luck to get the win.
  21. General play was sloppy today. Despite that we still created enough to win it. Felt like the Hull game from a finishing perspective. Boro also had pace enough to trouble us on the counter and did it well. Got a little bit of luck with the win but it was a decent away performance. Timing may be viewed as bad with Leeds next, but we should see it as a great opportunity to erase doubts from all but a few bed-wetters on here.
  22. That's a really good goal.
  23. Jesus Andrew Johnson has packed on some timber.
  24. Thought he was a brilliant ref when he's been at our place. Got a big call wrong there though, definitely a pen.
  25. 😂😂 Willy Smallbone
