My parents do this, and they don't go often, but will always leave before the end of the game. Missed the Maguire equaliser at home to Utd. Missed the Dyer winner away at Huddersfield. Why the **** would you want to miss those moments. Baffles me. That Dyer winner is one of my absolute favourite football memories.

Got to keep our heads and respect the division and opponents. Don't want to get big headed. I think we'll beat these ***** 5-0.

One issue under Brendan, even when we were finishing 5th, was our ability to break down a low block. We don't seem to have had that issue under Enzo. And if teams come on to us then we beat the press and enjoy it. We seem to have all the tools to beat any set up in this league. To beat us, it would need a level and quality of pressing that just isn't there. We'll have off days but we're a cut above.

Being here turned an issue of high player turnover into a positive. Meant we could adapt to the Enzo way more quickly. I don't think he'd get the time/patience or number of incoming players to implement the system at a lot of Prem clubs.

Was mixing up making runs with dropping deep, and took the goal really well. Good performance and nice as we continue to spread the goals about.

He's been great, this system is spot on for him and he looks almost undroppable. Given the contract situation though, should we get promoted then it's a position I'd be looking to heavily invest in an upgrade.

Squad game. Let's go.

Latest bookies odds seem to imply that we are more likely to win the league than any other team are individually to get promoted.

I think the last action of the game was Faes breaking forward into their half on the attack, and he looked really annoyed that the ref blew up haha. A team enjoying their football. -

Lovely goal

Thought he would change it up a bit. Interesting that he hasn't. He did mention that he thought it may be a patient approach where we have to press for a winner in the last 20, maybe that's when we'll bring on the freshest legs.

It's been talked on here before about our reluctance on the quick break at times and I thought that was a difference I saw from Ipswich last night - they are slightly more gung ho in their approach than us, which probably explains some of the high scoring games they've had (4-3 v Blackburn, 3-2 v Cardiff, 3-4 v Leeds). They are probably a slightly less controlled but arguably more exciting side to watch than us. I thought their second goal yesterday was really good quality and actually showed a lot of the qualities I've seen in our side this season. I think they are a shoo in for the playoffs at least. EDIT: a fair few of their goals I have seen seem to have been from outside the box too - which may dry up at some point. We've scored all of ours from inside the area so far?

There are serious debates on VAR decisions on most of the games. Follow the Saturday Fiasco we had the penalty incident on Sunday. And if correctness is paramount then why not check corners? Throw ins? Free kicks?
-
But this still happens with VAR in place, so now you get to wait and STILL get an incorrect decision.
-
They seem to counter a little more than us but probably also look less assured at the back. Look a good side though, can see why they've got themselves into second favourites for the league now.

One of these type of things was always gonna happen eventually, and I'm so glad it was Liverpool who it happened to 😂

Quite liked the Rory chant from the Ryder Cup (that I think came from Irish rugby fans), but probably only works for Vardy and we already have loads of songs for him. He's in your head, In your head, Vardy, Vardy, Vardy-dy-dy (Tune: The Cranberries - Zombie) https://twitter.com/RyderCupEurope/status/1708430858749714793?t=iedHwBhu1ZcZHH8IMjneiQ&s=19 Edit: beaten to it by Ric's fuller version.

I hate VAR and would scrap it tomorrow. But the gulf in its use in the Prem Vs international tournaments is absolutely staggering.
-
So since our defeat to Hull, in league games we've played 4, won 4, scored 11 and conceded 2. 3 of the wins by more than a single goal margin, and the one by a single goal was arguably the most dominant of the 4 performances. There's definitely been an improvement here and things in the final third are clicking more. Two more games before the next international break and we should be targeting a perfect 6.

Our goalscoring record in the last 15 is so good.

Agreed, think he may well go on to be the best signing we made this summer. For this incident looked like Winks offered himself but the Blackburn player was on him immediately. Neither Winks or Made seemed to recognise that the ball was just not on at all, both Faes and Vestergaard were available wide. Don't think it will be the last one we get this season and thought we adapted after this.

Did they put up that Hermansen has the best save % in the division too? Given we signed him predominantly for his skill with the ball at his feet, he's got a very rounded game. Another who is too good for this division imo.
