I was completely wrong about him not being able to play this position. He's been outstanding.

Think we started going longer because the press was catching us out. And presume the extra pass invites that press which means the pitch is more open should we go long.

Good enough and versatile enough to play the 8 or either wide position. Invaluable.

Outside the box so wouldn't be touched by VAR.

If we sort the passing out then there'll be lots of opportunities should we beat the press. At times our passing wasn't up to beating it though and we've got into bother. Not over by a long shot and the yellow cards is a worry.

I hate VAR and would bin it tomorrow; but its implementation in world cups or similar international tournaments has generally been pretty good. The so called best league in the world just seems incapable of implementing similar standards.

There are some downsides to playing the system, regardless, but one of the big advantages of the rigidity is that ability to utilise the squad better. All of the roles are really clearly defined. We should be able to chop and change more then others without an impact. Changing things about can breed unfamiliarity. This makes the changes in game interesting in a way too, as it's often just a like for like. Can see some taking on more than one role across the front though in maybe McAteer or Akgun.

Might sound mad but I don't think that's too bad psychologically either. Keeps our feet firmly on the ground without being a really demoralising defeat.

Probably will be a top 4 side this season so no surprise there's a gulf in quality. Gave a decent showing for where we currently are.

Every club will pick up injuries. In theory we should be the best placed to adapt. There won't be a perfect replacement as Doyle is first choice, but it's a problem we should be able to solve.

I compare in my mind how often Winks receives the ball while under pressure to Youri. It's admittedly from Champ players but he knows where his pass is going before he gets the ball. Then I recall Wolves goal against us at the KP. If you were an opposing manager you would be him as the player to target with a press.

Was predicting us to win the league lots in the summer, mostly on the standards of this division. The gap between the top two since we were last here has grown massively. It's very hard to just based on how teams play against us as most will just sit back and defend. I think Norwich are the best side we've played but they pretty much just had set pieces as an attacking threat.

Farke is a very likeable bloke.

Ridiculously good signing. Would be interesting to see him in the Prem where we may be more on the back foot, but looks like he's got it all.

My favourite bit was when he recognised that run down their left and sprinted back with the Bristol player and shepherded it out for a goalkick. Love that.

Big rotation, chance to give some game time to Coady, Daka, Souttar even maybe. Would be tempted to give Casadei a go as he's looked a little lost. But it's a free hit and none of us really give a shit.

Thought we really started turning the screw in the first 10 mins after the break. Might not have been dominant in the scoreline but it was a very controlled performance and we bossed them. Good after a week containing two tough away trips.

The "X is a shithole, I want to go home" is ****ing shit. Hate it when our fans do it too. It's the pits. If you want to go home then **** off, nobody is stopping you.

If he ever finds himself unattached to a club (maybe next summer?) and wants a slightly slower paced role, we'd be mad to not try and bring him in as a DoF. It seems like the perfect role for his skillset.

Would love to know what went through Vardy's head for that decent chance he had. Not sure if he got a shout from Mavididi as it looked like he was trying to flick it back to him. Really should have taken the ball on himself as it's the kind of position he thrives on.
