Barring Ward and Souttar, we'd have to replace the others because the squad is actually thin, I'm not sure we can even put a 25 together. -

Why do you think that? -

I thought the original point was that an American owner is unlikely to change things much for the better here? They've done just what KP have done, and will be bound by the same issues clubs face... the constant need to replace anyone decent after they get cherry picked. -

Here is the issue, your opinion isn’t necessarily the right opinion. For every person that shares your opinion, will be another who thinks entirely differently. We’ve seen it all the time at fans forums etc… get rid of the clappers, don’t get rid of the clappers, play x type of music, play y type of music. Getting consensus amongst fans is almost impossible, so whose opinion are you want to follow? So they are likely to only offer up platitudes that they will get moaned at for. So, like the vast majority of clubs they just keep their mouths shut. A forum for fans to really get across how they feel would be worthwhile and to have someone high up there would be nice so they understand different opinions, but as I say you always get differing opinions at them. -
It's not different to what Pearson did, and he built basically a League 1, Championship and Premier league winning teams. A core of players used to the country, the football and the mentality etc, not only helps with a quick integration, but is far more likely to lead to a team spirit fostered quickly. It doesn't mean you don't buy foreign players, just that you don't load the squad with them. You just need to buy the right ones, Pearson bought a few older heads, but then wanted young and hungry players with something to prove.

1) With respect, you can't blast them for failing FFP and then blast them for not also failing FFP and trying to call their bluff. 2) What offers are you on about? -

So all the stuff Kingpower have done... -
He hasn’t missed a preseason with us though. If we are still in this position in two or three weeks then it’s a little bit different.
-
Not really; he's out of contract and no longer a Leicester player. Anyone in their right mind would sit tight and see what offers are available. Tielemans was under contract and clearly had no intention of being here any longer than he had to be... then some bright spark made him captain.

The agent isn't stupid, the reality is you'd pay pretty much exactly the same amount for two years as you would three if that was a discussion. So you may as well have the three years. -

He’s just turned 18… I think we can give him a pass. -
I think it depends on the where you are and or who you are with. Solstice 1 I adored, solstice 2 was pretty pants.

Why is everything so black and white If he’s on £50,000 a week, that’s £7.8m over the course of the contract. The extra year is probably the reason he’s signed, but it makes financial sense as we clearly aren’t in a position to be spending £10m+ on younger players for every single signing. If we don’t outbid others we aren’t going to be able to get the number of frees needed to help us bulk up the squad whilst keeping our spending down on fees. People act like it’s dead easy to go out and buy proven players for a couple of million quid. -

No no no this won’t do, please find something to moan about rather than using common sense. -
Are they paying us in Doge coins?
-
So, let’s perhaps wait until everyone is signed as we still might. Or it might turn out we’ve got nothing to spend at all, in which case it’s all we can do.
-
I would prefer it wasn't, but in the grand scheme of what's important in my life, it's up there with what socks to wear in the morning.
-
Bet they don't.
