Cooper is is the same bracket as Pearson, he’ll want to get the defensive side of things right first. I always thought we were more negative at the starts of Pearsons reigns as he drummed defensive systems and hard work into them, then we would start opening up a bit more as time went on and he was getting the defensive stuff he wanted! Fingers crossed it’s similar.

Prime example when we went from a 3 at the back to a 4?

Yes. I've not come across many that aren't indoctrinated when they are the sort to attend conferences.
-
Didn't realise he'd said this and the stuff behind not managing Spain. Honestly, seems like a good fit if he's going to leave Man City at the end of the season. What else is he going to do in terms of club management!
-
As you get older, it becomes clearer that anyone involved in politics in any fashion, whether local, national, or to be so invested they actually attend conferences and rallies... has a mental disorder of some sort.

Rob, 100% should be the first port of call in this situation. It's likely to be advice you are given by CA etc, so I wouldn't hang about. Be armed with the amount you CAN afford to pay them each month to keep your head above water. No point accepting a payment plan that's not actually going to help. Consider a balance transfer credit card, shifting your debt from one card to another for a fee, usually around 3 / 3.5%. But it means perhaps a year or two without interest payments to give you some breathing space. Obviously check the interest rates etc for when the 0% ends, and it's only a breathing space measure. There needs to be a longer term plan to pay it back. Are you renting or do you have a mortgage? Whichever it is, speak to the landlord or the bank and be honest. Explain that you are struggling and need a bit of breathing space whilst you discuss the options you have with experts.

You didn't mention the group also contained Uraguay and Italy. 2012 France, Sweden, Ukraine, lost to Italy. Southgate IMO had an easy ride in tournament football, luck has been on his side with the draws and he's pretty much always lost when he's come up against anyone half decent. We might have improved a bit, I really don't feel like it was a gigantic amount. We were utter crap barring 45 minutes this whole tournament.

Have you seen the video of the area he was found?

His win rate was about 4% different to Hodgson

Has nobody ever been drunk or worse on a night out before? The lad was unsteady on his feet in the nightclub videos... he was hammered. I've ended up round random peoples houses before (many years ago), as you just want to carry on the party. If he's still out of it, then he probably thought he could do it, or he could walk to another town, then decided to take a "shortcut".
-
Sober no, drunk or high.... I've been running about all over the place at 4am like a loon.
-
Would we want to tempt them? It's a massive long shot, but I'd go all out for Klopp on a short-term contract until after the World Cup. There's no way he stays for ages. But he wants a rest, which frankly can be done beside the England job as it's not a full-time position, is it? Other than that, the pickings are slim. I would rather give it to Howe than an older manager like Benitez, who won't give a monkeys.

100%, they are counter snipers and that area was clearly the weakness they were there to watch. The roof is pitched, and the sniper stays behind the pitch, obviously only appearing at the very last second, and even then he'd of only been fractionally visible. Which is when you see the counter sniper look up from his scope, almost as if to confirm what he saw before the first shot rang out.

They aren't telling them EXACTLY how to play, it will just be a case of saying we want to focus on a passing style of football. Puel, Rodgers, Enzo were all "passing" style managers, but each had a different style. We will play differently to the style of Enzo, but they will still want it to be in the ball park, so to speak.
-
There was one passage of play that wound me up so much, we had a throwin in their final third, rather than moving for the ball, looking for space, and then backing up that player.... we threw it all the way back to a player in our own half, who then passed it back to pickford, he then just punted it the length of the pitch to their keeper or out for a goal kick. What was the point? Could you imagine Spain not trying to take advantage of a high pitch position. They might go back a little, but they aren't going from edge of penalty box to keeper.
-
Any decent manager would have changed the tactics in the game. Too may long balls from Pickford to nowhere, too many times players with the ball are isolated and don’t have support. Every time a Spanish player got the ball he had two or three easy passes, we got the ball and most of the time you need a miracle to make a pass to another white shirt.

The new Beverley Hills Cop is pretty entertaining…. Miles better than no.3 any way. Won’t be winning any awards but way better than I expected it to be.
-
Impacts whether I have a clue what they are talking about or not.
-
Realistically, I wouldn’t have been that bothered if he went due to his injuries of recent years. But, considering the financial constraints we face, I think it’s an important move to keep as many as we can and save the fees for players to improve the team and squad. Losing him would have meant a decent outlay to replace him, even just for a squad player. So, overall I’m happy he’s staying.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Babylon replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
After reading the previous reports for Everton and Forest, I noticed that there are few mitigating circumstances they will accept as an excuse. It would have to be truly exceptional, as their viewpoint is that you should plan ahead for all eventualities so that you can comply even if the very worst happens. -
They've already said it's basically just a stick to make peope take up the digital cards. They've said they are going that way, nothing will stop them going that way. So I'm afraid people need to get used to the idea that the option of a physical card is going to end soon.

In terms of PSR we have to deal with the here and now sometimes and that means keeping what we have/had and not spending a fee on an equivalent.
