  1. There isn’t a single bit of difference, because the point remains exactly the same. You don’t judge single players on team performances.
  2. Which an odd attitude, how many players nearly got relegated and then went on to win the league with us? You cannot judge individuals by how a team performs, one look on their forum and would tell you what a talent the vast majority thought Hamer was.
  3. Because it's insane, it's the presidential race and not MMA.
  4. Sources say Finnegan isn't Welsh and just likes to identify as a maligned minority. Apparently.
  5. Yeah and Drinkwater won the league, played for England. So sounds about right.
  6. Those figures are made up, we don’t know any of them.
  7. Your have literally no idea what he’s valued at or what he’d be earning.
  8. People like the drama
  9. Frees will add money to the PSR calculations due to the agents fees. I’d imagine we can do a deal with Brighton to hide any such fees.
  10. We may still go and sign other players, in fact I’m sure if it. We already need to replace Praet, Casadai and Albrighton in terms of numbers from Christmas time. I’m just presuming it’s a cheap way of adding a body to the books that has no impact on the PSR, and that we’ll spend to replace KDH.
  11. I would imagine because we get a player for £0 book cost, which means £0 added to the years amortisation figures. Agents fees singing on fees etc that frees would cost can be hidden in a swap. We desperately need some new bodies throughout the whole squad and don’t have much money. The squad is already vastly weaker than it was at Christmas last year.
  12. I just don’t get why they’d want him, unless it’s a dodgy deal somewhere.
  13. Chelsea preparing for their long term future as a mistake also ran then.
  14. It enabled us to get the job done (promotion).
  15. No, a relative of an ex-Leicester player and employee who met him a few days before for some business stuff.
  16. Our shirts aren't out yet! Plus current contracts would have had an increase built into the contract.
  17. Someone who knows him was basically intimating that we was staying to me the other week. Despite his issues, I think it's best as it just saves us having to spend to replace him.
  18. Because I'd imagine saying "Get promoted" wouldn't be seen as a viable business plan. But I said donkeys ago, that by getting promoted it means a totally different ball game around sponsorships etc. A new shirt sponsor could easily add £20m to the books for a single season, even more if we do a deal with someone KP know... if you know what I mean.
  19. We literally had the league and premier league on strings last season, thanks to us using their own rules against them.
  20. Of course it dropped off, his form here got worse and there was talk of huge clubs being interested. He was turning down contracts here when we were in a far better place than Villa were when he signed.
  21. Who would have thought that fans, who are probably spending at the very least £500, probably thousands are getting a little disgruntled with their boring manager.
  22. Top, Whelen, Rudkin... all still here. Yes Vichai is gone, but as I continuously state, people making him out as someone who didn't make mistakes are choosing to ignore them. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone will continue to make mistakes. What Vichai did was continuously strive for better, if he made a mistake, he'd try and correct it.
  23. Depends if you smack someone with a clapper
  24. I read that he was listed as contracted in the released players list, rather than subject to contract offer. So I'm guessing is was basically all done and dusted and just not announced.
  25. I thought it was really entertaining, some of the best TV I've seen in a while, my excitemet for it to start was palpable and it didn't disappoint. Some great attacking, great pace and an all round wonderful spectable. Enough of House of the Dragon which I watched instead of the football. Can't wait for Southgate to get employed by Fulham or Bournmouth and relegate them.
