  1. He looked okay. Held the ball up and looked to be making runs. He needs to impress to ensure he isn't loaned out.
  2. Almost as good as when they came third in a two horse race...
  3. As an Aussie I love Mooy and want to see him in the Prem next season. As a Leicester fan, I hope it's not with us. He's too slow in attack and is not good enough to retain the bal and pull off interceptions like Mendy. Plus I doubt he'd a bargain.
  4. From the first line of Tony Cascasarino's piece: "Harvey Barnes, Wilfred Ndidi, Youri Tielemans, James Maddison — Leicester City could become like Ajax or Monaco in recent years, a very good side built on young talent." The next line: I look at Maddison and I think, “Arsenal is your team.” So, Leicester has the potential to become an exciting, young, upstart team that can wow and thrill fans with its ability to cause upsets on the biggest stage.. Next line: But we should stop this in its tracks and remove all their best players and send them to underachieving London clubs cause I'm an elitist. It irks me. I don't see the point of going to Chelsea and Arsenal now anyway, they're in real turmoil. Liverpool I can understand the allure, and Man City if you don't mind sitting on the bench. But many of those so called 'big teams' don't win anything. Why not play in a side where you're guaranteed game time, that plays an attacking way and has the possibility of getting into Europe anyway. From afar, the obsession with the so called 'big clubs' is baffing.
  5. I was hoping Burnley would go down and Cardiff stay up. So today's result is displeasing...
  6. Slimani's career has collapsed. What on earth has happened?
  7. I felt so bad for both Wilf AND Mendy. Clearly in a two they were forced to try and create and it impacted both their games terribly. Wilf looked a shadow of himself and Mendy, whose game is predicated on being Mr Predictable, was suddenly being harried into mistakes. The introduction of Tielemans (genuine hat tip to Claude there) and Brendan's desire to press high is helping Wilf do what Wilf is best at: winning the ball back high and setting out attack away. It's also given Mendy a niche role: to come on, retain possession under pressure and shore up our midfield. It gives me genuine joy to see these two players who were choking under the old system given a lease of life. Wilf is getting the main benefit but Mendy looks miles more comfortable when he comes on these days too. Happy days.
  8. This is a cracking season. We have endured a lot of turgid dross but it's looking up for us, now. And as for the rest: it’s unusual for there to be such a compelling title race, race for top four AND relegation scrap. Who do you guys think will go down with Fulham and Huddersfield? I think Southampton will haul themselves out of it, but Burnley has an awkward run in. I think it'll be Cardiff who drops down but it'll be a close run thing. I think Burnley and Cardiff play each other so it might be the traditional six pointer clash. The fight for relegation is almost as riveting as the title race. I'm a terrible person though
  9. He's no better than what we have. No thanks.
  10. I almost feel sorry for Mahrez. Almost
  11. Eden Hazard looks small. He's not a bad footballer. Football, unlike say basketball, is not a sport that is stacked against smaller, slighter people.
  12. I agree completely. He may well make mistakes but he's got oodles of potential. Blood him now and get him up to standard and he could flourish like Chilwell did. I would love us to finish 7th, but Barnes that is fulfilling his potential for next season alongside Madders, Gray and Albrighton is pretty exciting.
  13. Maybe in the squad for tomorrow? Surely he needs a week to train with the lads. I do love that he's big, strong and fast with a good eye for goal. Could help us be more direct.
  14. I am so happy. I just hope we all give him the time to develop. He looks like a gem and I think with time and nurturing he could be the real deal. My main concern was him not getting minutes, but surely the powers that be wouldn't be recalling him unless he was going to get minutes. Probably too early for the Saints, but surely he should start from the next game. Good luck Harvey. Everyone is rooting for you.
  15. Absolutely. I think the other two spots are up for grabs. I love Claudio and my brother used to support Fulham when he lived in London so I'm rooting for them as long as they are not playing us. Not looking good though. Worried that Southampton will come to us and just be content with a draw. We could struggle to break them down
  16. Thank god he is on a long term contract. I don't think the club should sell him for any price right now. He's that crucial. Love the guy
  17. I'M SCREAMING YAASSSSSSS BOYYYYYSSSS
  18. What I can't stand about nacho is that he's lazy. He doesn't make the required runs. Even when Vardy is in bad form he at least is making the effort and getting himself in scoring positions. Lord Farquard shows why he is one "for the future " On a better note Diabate looks good. Pleased for him to start. Mendy is a boss as always. Albrighton is a god send all hail Albrighton
  19. It's not being aired here in Australia if anyone has a stream they could send me I'd be really grateful
  20. That's the game then. I will be ropable if Wes starts in another Prem game barring an injury crisis.
  21. How many times have we all said it? FFS
  22. I'd like to think those of us expressing frustration want the lad to succeed. I'd be thrilled if he can use this as a platform for us going forward
  23. I TAKE IT ALL BACK RICARDO (except the stuff about your defending!) Classic goal
  24. Ricardo makes my blood boil. At the minute he doesn't deserve his place. I guess the hope is he will turn out like Mendy, who I think is doing well this game so far
  25. I'm talking about the cross into the box. Harry and plenty of the others have been poor with their first touches. Bizarre. Everton are a decent side we can't be giving them leg ups
