  1. To be fair to Harry and Wes I place the blame there on Ricardo and to an extent Amartey. He never should have been able to cross that
  2. I am so sick of Richardo. What does the lad have except pace? Gets beaten everytime.
  3. Good point. Pereira is so ropey as a defender but he's been quite good further up the pitch. He's ahead of Ghezzal at the moment, who looks slow and has no real end product. At least Pereira is fast and frees up space for others.
  4. Positives Iheanacho was brilliant, great to see him and Vards leading the line. I think we look much more threatening with the trio of Maddison, Vardy and Nacho in the team. Amartey did really well, pleased for him after he started the season so poorly. Madders. He was my man of the match. He's brilliant. The team having the confidence to recover from a wretched start Puel having the guts to make a change at halftime Albrighton looked great when he came on, gives us a lot of energy Negatives Defence was still REALLY ropey today. Town could have scored two more easy ones, including leaving a player alone in the box with a free header. Macguire and Evans look rusty. A better team would have converted at least one of those chances. Would have liked to have seen more intensity when we went 3-1. Go for 4 or 5. You never know how important goal differences will be at the end of the season. Ghezzal was horrific and deserved to be hooked when he was Please with the points. Huddersfield have to be nailed on to go down (shame, as an Australian I am sad for Mooy, but his team is woeful, so...) but we did the job nonetheless. If we can iron out of some the defensive kinks there is a team here
  5. Not a single player attacked the goal to get the ball away from our six yard box. Abysmal defending. Now Town are just going to sit in and defend for the rest of the game, making it difficult to break them down. Shambles.
  6. Fair play to Bournemouth I think they are a terrific team and hope they stay up. We are due a big performance against them though I am thoroughly sick of them beating us.
  7. Morgan. #sigh# I'm not sure how we are going to get stability at the back if we don't have continuity. Pleased at least for Mendy. And for Ian to take his chance!
  8. I agree with this entirely. I could never truly embrace him after he has shown he is capable of that kind of despicable violence. Truly stomach turning. He contributed to the club and deserves his Prem medal but that's all the praise he gets from me. Good to see us moving on.

    Ahmed Musa

I cannot believe there is semi-serious speculation we could make a profit on Musa. Incredible.
  10. I almost feel sorry for Sterling now. He's clearly talented but the no goals thing is messing with his head. Vardy would have buried that second chance 9/10 times
  11. Dele and his wayward passing. When is he going to turn up to this event?
  12. I'll miss him. It's the right time, but oh, I'll miss him. Love watching him bring down a diagonal pass with a casual flick of his foot. Masterclass. Hope he does well for Man C (except against us when I hope he goes missing and/or someone thumps in the legs a few times). I hope we're getting some add ons though 60m seems like a bargain.
  13. Vardy is starting! Game's worth watching for that alone. Now let's see if our midfielders decide to pass to him now he's on from the start and not coming off the bench....
  14. Uh...yes. #coughs# His....stats.. look terrific. GERRRRRIM
  15. I know he's a mardy douche sometimes but I'll miss him so much. Oh well, at least he's not going to freaking ARSE. Roberts isn't quite a like-for-like replacement I don't think....
  16. would he be okay being on the bench? I want to give Nacho and Vards first go of it next season.
  17. I can't even with this team. I'm not normally negative but let's hope this isn't the cluster**** that it looks like it will be. C'mon Foxes
  18. It's 2am here too. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. I wanted to Puel time....but this isn't just ONE game. It's a trend. And his team selection was absolutely daft which was proven by the substitutions. And ultimately it's best to get a new manager in and start afresh over the summer.
  19. I am sick of this. All I want for the offseason is our defence getting sorted.
  20. Has Mahrez done a damn thing? And Iheanacho has been poor too. Hamza is a little legend though.
  21. Lovely linkup play.
  22. I'm not liking this team selection at all (albeit, against Southampton I was very happy and look how that turned out). What has Drags done to piss off the manager? No creativity in the midfield, either. I hope I'm wrong but this doesn't auger well for anything more than a draw at best.
  23. He was poor, but showed glimpses of class. I know he should be up to speed by now, but I'm not ready to toss him away just yet. I'm hopeful he can come good. Please prove me right, Adrien! Still fuming about Morgan's performance but this is not the thread for it.
  24. On the plus side, Chilly, Demari, Diabte and Choudhury played well, and even though Vards wasn't quite at his best he still scored like the champion he is. Well in! On the not-so-plus side. That was the worst performance I have seen from Wes Morgan. Silva and Simpson were poor too, but Wes was playing another level, so poor was his positioning, pace, communication and passing. Abysmal. It was almost astonishingly bad. The only possible silver-lining is maybe this abject performance will spur Puel to drop him. Wes has been average to poor since returning from injury, but this was an awful performance. And it's all the more galling when we have Drago on the bench, who formed a terrific relationship with Harry and was a solid, no frills, sensible player. Wes is a liability we cannot afford, and if he isn't dropped after that monstrosity then there is something seriously amiss. I don't enjoy saying this. Wes is a club legend and I'll always love him. But on that performance, combined with other poor showings, clearly demonstrates that he needs to go for the good of the team. I hope the players still find motivation now that Europe is gone. Here's hoping.
