Sunak’s statement on mental health - just vile. Ignorant, vicious and vile.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Jon ‘the big slurp’ Rudkin. Why did you even have to ask? -
It’s an open invitation to lie on your application, all bets are off. In my role as chief PA to the Queen I once punched a wild bear in the tits seventeen times to protect Her Majesty, all while coordinating the catering for the next day’s heads of state lunch. Then, while PA to the Head of Space, I won Best PA in the Universe, and the award was presented by the ghost of Des Lynham. “Oh Des, it looks like you’ve fallen into a mountain of Angus Deaton’s cocaine,” I said dryly. We all laughed.

It’s ok, everything is going to be fine, it was his old PA’s fault. It’ll all get better when he gets his new one. https://jobsinfootball.com/job/74427/personal-assistant/

Shut up, or I’ll punch you for getting my dog drunk.

He got someone else to pay his illegal immigrant blackmailing teen sex worker money on his behalf with their own savings - I’d call that a total negotiating win.

Is she no longer on speaking terms with her bag?

There’s a broader impact to drinking through the cost of policing, clean up operations in towns and city centres, domestic abuse…the list goes on.

Fine, who else are you going to ban from a service they may have paid in to for their entire life? Chubby folks? Oldiwonks? They’re always demanding health treatments. People who go around sticking their cocks into things and catching diseases? And how precisely do you intend to prove that the smoking related ailment resulted from the individual smoking and not from secondhand sources? Given the societal cost of drinking, no doubt you’ll also be in favour of enforced sobriety too, as a follow up? That went well when they banned it, eh.

Sources from the States such as the AHA are compromised through their funding and the pressure being brought to bear across the country in relation to the 1998 Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement. This means that statements put out and much of the USA’s research is completely unreliable - with a number of papers already being pulled by the publishing journals. There is not “clearly” a link between nicotine and the issues you cited, hence my rebuttal. I’ve just landed and got home so I’ll root out links to actual studies and British commentary tomorrow, should that be required. In the meantime, this: https://www.rsph.org.uk/about-us/news/nicotine--no-more-harmful-to-health-than-caffeine-.html I’d caution anyone wishing to venture an opinion on the subject to stick to British journals, public health organisations and independent researchers. *this is kinda my day job

Did you find it got rough?

I’ve no idea how many research papers you’ve read on the subject, I’ve read a horrible amount. It is absolutely not linked to angina, MIs or strokes. It is not primarily responsible for arterial wall hardening anymore than caffeine. The rest of your post leads directly on from the unsupportable presumptions that it does. If you want links I can provide them once I’ve landed back in the UK and had some sleep.

No. Low nic cigarettes completely ignore the fact that individuals self-titrate until X amount of nicotine is in the blood stream. Ignorant politicians restricted the nic level of eliquid in the Tobacco Products Directive. It’s a completely arbitrary 20mg/ml that ignored evidence and was plucked from the ether. low nic cigarettes simple result in smokers smoking more, thereby increasing risk from disease. Nicotine does not cause cancer, the byproducts of combustion cause smoking related illness and death. The solution, therefore, is to eliminate the combustion…which has been done with vapes, snus and heat-not-burn.
