I don't care who says they support the club tbh mate. I find it completely odd that someone chooses to follow a team they have no previous connection with. I've zero time for those who claim to be fans when we sign someone from their country. I've moved around the world and have an emotional attachment to the local clubs I went to watch with the friends I made there, but I was born in Leicester so that will be my club for life. I don't go on Sunderland, Cali or Caracas forums, you won't find me following Auxerre, Ajax, or Millonarios on Facebook - although I did donate to the Shrimpers Trust's fighting fund. My issue is with the club courting foreign fair-weather fans. I think all tickets (bar STs) should go straight to general sale at a fixed and affordable to all price - no membership schemes, no purchase history points bollocks. Makes it sales to the motivated only. We are flooded with placeholder fans who are maintaining their points for the big games they now expect us to have. It's why they aren't engaged with matches and bunk off early.
