5000/1 Anniversary Match To Support Local Causes - Saturday 30th May

Yes. It's time to move on. Next season there should be no pre-match video, flags etc.. Get the fundamentals right and hopefully there'll be something to celebrate in the future -
The Shakespeare link is appropriate after our two winters of discontent 🤨

Phew. At least my memory is still okay. Only another 5-6 weeks before the fixtures come out and we can talk about that 😃. Until then it'll be other childhood stuff: Raleigh Choppers, Subbuteo, Top Trumps, trainspotting.....
-
OK, I´ll bite. Are they toys from the 70s and 80s? You stuffed them with caps and chucked them at the ground to make them explode?
-
What about some alternative awards?: Worst 1st half: Sheffield United Worst 2nd half: Southampton Throwing away 2 points against 10 men: Boro (H) Worst goal conceded: a tie between 45 different goals Now over to you..............

One factor in the JJ situation is his fitness. Has he played a full 90 mins this season? I imagine he´s been subbed off so many times to protect him. Even if we had the money to sign him, and he wanted to (if we´d stayed up), then we might consider it too big a risk (although he´s contribued more in half a season than any other player who played a full season). Likewise, other clubs that could afford him might be put off by his injury record this season (or would carry out a stringent medical exam before deciding whether to sign him).

It puzzles me a bit as well, but I get the feeling that they think "look at me, it´s -5 C and I´m wearing shorts. Aren´t I hard?" Anyway, leave me alone - I´m already upset that tomorrow we´ll be saying goodbye to Leicester legends like Ayew and Daka
-
I´m stressed out. Tomorrow will be the last day we see legends like Daka and Ayew in a Leicester shirt and I can´t handle it
-
People who don´t know me and call me "buddy" or "bud" the first time they talk to me (perhaps I don´t like it because I´m 60) People who go "yeah yeah yeah" after someone else has said something Blokes who wear shorts in the winter. You don´t look cool and you don´t look hard, so stop it!

How old is he?

4-4-2 GK - who commands the defence and knows when to stay on his line and when to come off it 2 CBS - who can head and tackle RB, LB - who can defend and pass the ball 20 yards (to someone in the same-coloured shirt) 2 CMs - who are strong, can tackle, head, and pass the ball accurately 2 wide players - who can cross the ball Front 2 - a big lad, who can head the ball and hold it up/flick it on, and a nippy finisher Do we have (m)any of these at the club and, if not, is there any money to bring them in? The big lad would be someone like Kieffer Moore, not a great player but would do a job.

The security checks are tighter at the Leicester turnstiles 😃

In fact I think it was just a box you connected to the TV, no downloads or programming involved

In the 70s, one of the first course options at our local Chinese restaurant was a glass of orange juice. We thought it was a treat. Those were the days when orange juice came in a tin, or as crystals that you dissolved in water.

I remember the tennis game. There were 2 "bat" sizes - the smaller one being for "advanced" players

I was pleased to see the questions about the ridiculous and futile searches at the turnstiles

Good news! Burton have stayed up, so another local derby 😃

Eight days after winning the FA Cup in 2021, when we lost to Spurs and so didn´t qualify for the CL. Then the summer signings.......
-
Agreed. We didn´t sign a decent replacement for Vardy (we signed Daka) when we had money to spend. The last 2 windows we´ve had no money and ended up looking for bargain signings in Poundland, with the results that are obvious. The same goes for Cifuentes and Rowett - we appointed them because they were the cheapest options, again with the results that are obvious. As everyone here has stated many times, the recent lack of money is the result of gross financial mismanagement since summer 2021.

West Brom - Potential PSR breach

We'd be in the Conference now 🙂 -
In ironic mode: League 1 is proper football with proper clubs and proper fans, not like the Championship with its diving players, foreign owners etc. etc.
