  1. Came in here thinking it was a thread about Braunstone
  2. With it being a dull place to go and far away, I think it should make All STH's. Swansea made it all the way down to members and that is pretty comparable.
  3. I don't see why the latter would be an issue. However, common sense does not exist in our ticket office. I would try it if I was you.
  4. I can vouch for this as well. Good value for money.
  5. The acoustics are definitely a factor. However, if the whole Kop would pull their finger out, the whole stadium would hear it and no-one would moan about bad acoustics. Preston were very good yesterday. I could actually hear them a few times. If the whole away end join in together, you can hear it anywhere in the stadium. The same goes for our home support.
  6. Everyone has reasons to go early (be that at HT or FT or whenever). I think the biggest gripe people have (and certainly goes for me) is that it's not just a few people, it's literally half the stadium. I think it goes back to the question of "Why do people go to a football match?". It seems most people don't go to support their team or to watch the football, they go because it's a routine or it's a social catch up with mates. It's just shocking to see at what levels this happens. The Bristol City game was the worst I have ever seen it. I looked around the stadium at maybe 41 minutes on the clock and it was half empty (and that's not exaggerated). Last night (or any match really) at FT, the players are being clapped off by a stadium half full (if that). They've just won the 9th league game out of 10 played and not many people can be bothered to hang around for another 2-3 minutes?
  7. It's definitely something we have picked up on in the front, there seems a bit of a divide (in regard to different chants starting, not hearing each other, some not participating etc.) at times and it seems challenging to connect the whole section.
  8. Out of interest where in the section are you (top, middle or bottom, without sounding like Michael Barrymore)? The front was good and I could hear the back start chants (which is fairly normal). It's usually the middle that can be very patchy.
  9. Don't buy from any websites other than official (common sense and multiple reasons). Unfortunately, the club don't do general sale. Best bet would be to find someone on this forum kind enough to buy tickets for you (STH's can buy extras). Unless you know of any family/friends/contacts that have season tickets? Then they could buy for you.
  10. Yh I listened to that transcript yesterday. Such weird comms between them. No wonder the ref has no idea what goes on half the time.
  11. Still don't know how they haven't looked at other sports and made it better. Rugby a prime example. The ref makes a decision which is clearly communicated to the TMO (VAR), e.g. on field decision is offside, is there a reason I should award the goal or can you confirm if there was no offside. Communication and understanding of the on-field decision seems to have been the issue for the weekend's call.
  12. Yes, just seen restricted view have gone on sale now so that added a few more. Might tick over into tomorrow.
  13. 2-0 is also my tip/guess/feeling
  14. This sells out today I think.
  15. Baffles me that in games like this where a sellout is guaranteed, they don't just open all blocks from the start. Top priority brackets are being punished by having to buy cr4p seats first.
  16. With VAR: Some decisions go against you, some go for you Kills spontaneous celebrations Without VAR: Some decisions go against you, some go for you You can enjoy celebrating goals
  17. They sold out the initial 2,300 odd and were then given another 1,000. So they haven't sold the away end out completely like Cov, Bristol City and Stoke
  18. Easily 1,000 I reckon. Not surprisingly, majority in the family stand blocks (P2 and P3). Put this on general sale and the ground would be full, absolute madness from this club.
  19. I was thinking about this yesterday. If you asked every person in that away end why they went to that match, I doubt you would get many good answers. As you say, people seem to be in a routine. For a lot, there is no difference to sitting at home and watching it on the TV (other than there is less time spent out of the house and it saves money).
  20. Your next game is always the toughest!
  21. Which block were you in and front or back? Just intrigued because I thought it was very good compared to the others this season and last few seasons.
  22. Were you the bloke stood next to me moaning all game, not joining in with any chants and then leaving early? Unreal.
  23. It's on sale to booking history if that helps?
  24. Should be even easier at Blackburn because there is a whole block empty that wasn't put on sale
