It would be really nice if we could tank them 4/5-0. Give us a boost of confidence to take into the remaining 6. Hopefully backed up by a result Monday.

Equally we could put the pressure on other teams by winning and getting ahead.

Middlesbrough will win, they are a good side and do well away from home (especially being backed by nearly 8,000). Southampton will also win, they are flying. QPR you would imagine get a result after a confidence boosting win against us particularly as Portsmouth are on a bad run. Bristol City is tricky. West Brom are still poor so this could be anything but I reckon probably a draw.

I think even if we win, other results will mean we stay in the drop zone. So losing will definitely be losing ground. Let's prove that we can actually play today! Still hope...for now.

It's really sad to see the majority of fans not care. The fact a fair amount of fans still back the regime and can't see the multiple alarm bells ringing is a punch in the gut for those who can see the downfall. The majority are also those who may still show up but give nothing but silence to the players when they really need some backing (whether they deserve it or not). The clap off at the end is not really support. The second annoyance is that even those who are fed up and want to make their voices heard, don't. The fact the march on Saturday was poorly attended shows just that. This club is rotten, spiralling (potentially) out of existence or the very least into darkness and yet everyone just seems to take it. This is the worst position the football club has EVER been in. Over 140 years of the football club. That one season we dropped to the third tier was a blip that was followed by a huge rebuild with the club in a decent financial state. That will certainly not be the case this time. Staying up has never been this important!

The positive is that it is away, we seem to be doing OK away from home recently. Not a must win by the true meaning but we really need all 3 points here before we go into a 2 week break. Get a positive feeling and then knuckle down for 2 weeks in training before it's the run of the last 7 matches. I really don't trust this squad of players to find what it takes to stay up. It's a dog fight with plenty of others around us but we need to start showing something.

I agree it requires some bad form but QPR are really struggling. Look at that 10 game run we had where we picked up about 4/5 points. It can happen and I think the threshold for survival will be north of 50 points (52/53 maybe). I think the other teams above QPR are safe and will get enough points. The most likely scenario is that two of the five go down (West Brom, Oxford, us, Blackburn or Portsmouth).

QPR are not out of it yet either. If they continue their poor form they could well be back in the mix come early April

This is huge, not as a single game but for what is to come. A win here would be absolutely priceless because it can allow us to kick on. The next run of games has plenty of generous/winnable fixtures. It is imperative that the crowd get behind them on Tuesday. For 90 minutes put the off pitch malarky aside and make those players feel comfortable to play at home. All those "backing the lads" need to start getting off their backsides and opening their gobs or clapping their hands. We as fans have the obligation to do our job and hopefully it will translate on the pitch.

Any traction on this? I think there is appetite within the fanbase if it is something they can get behind.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated. Even when the mood around the club is this low, people still turned out in numbers and gave generously. Without this, today would have been completely depressing (other than Cov continuing their decline!).

It was a hamstring injury. Did it out on the pitch training.

"We are ordinary" I bet this person has a really average, mundane job, a boring partner and never likes to challenge themselves. Imagine if leaders like Churchill (not the dog) had this attitude. Ah nevermind, we weren't meant to win this war anyway.

A person who is part of the wider medical setup at the club. The injury at Brentford was a different one to the one suffered with us. I don't have meticulous detail but I can only imagine that both injuries are a result of a weaker body post his crash (added on top to an ageing body too).

Support the lads through the good times and the bad...but not when it's too cold, then we stay at home.

He failed a medical there. He trained with us and also failed a medical (hence no news so far as he has now left). Not surprising really after his injuries and with his age.

Most of the time we get slated for "only" being 20 members (not true by the way but we are sub 100). The singing section is more than 1,000. So yes, when UFS get told we "run" the section we like to clarify we don't. Most of the time yes, we do initiate chants to avoid 80 odd minutes of silence, this is our aim. However, when other chants get started in the section (which is extremely welcome) we join in. There is no divide between the group and the rest of the section. The divide is between a fair few around the section and the whole section. And most of the wrong behaviour comes from outside of the section. It gets ignored for the most part but when it gets confrontational, it can no longer be fully ignored. It must be said that threats and violence is not always targeted at UFS or the section, plenty of examples, particularly away, where other individuals have been targeted. Anyone who comes into the ground with any intention of physically abusing fellow fans should not be welcome. We all have our opinions, views and disagreements but there has to be a way to handle those in a better way.

As a group we know we are a target. If someone is pissed off with the section or a chant being started they aren't going to walk up to a random person and kick off. They will see a big group and target them (even if not the culprit). By being in a group it is much easier to be targeted. Personally think we have handled most situations well recently (yesterday's event is not the only time abuse is hurled at us). Fully aware we are not everyone's cup of tea but we do what we do and that won't change. Join in or just ignore us. Both are good. Getting physical and constantly abusing the group is pretty low life and desperate. On many occasions we have stated that we will talk and have chats to people. That guy yesterday could have come up and had a normal chat raising his points and we could have discussed (preferably at HT and not in the middle of the game though). Worst case we disagree and carry on as normal.

It definitely wasn't planned. And not even this single incident was the driver but it has happened a few times now over the past couple of years and the club do nothing to even try and support the group for it. We have seen group members get bans for the pettiest of things (some still banned currently), yet physical abuse to our members gets ignored over and over. It was a really tough decision and there was very little time to make it but we decided enough was enough. Very unfortunate that we were leading 2-1 and needed the support second half but sometimes standing your ground, as a group/unit, for something takes precedence. Additionally with the boycott coming up at the next fixture it makes it even more difficult. The drum bit was even more frustrating because we literally went through the skin on the main drum during the first half so the once that was aimed at was the backup!
