  1. Bring back the Fox Leisure store in Britannia Centre Hinckley!!!
  2. To answer your question, no I wasn't. Not through my choice and I will leave it at that. However, have been at front of section since it started and do give 90 mins of backing. There is no doubt that there have been games where even there it's gone flat, we regularly address this within UFS as well. So it's not perfect but generally, it is 90 mins of support. For the atmosphere to improve, it needs a lot more people to have that mindset. Back the team even when the football might be uninspiring, trust me, it makes the matchday experience much more enjoyable. If it wasn't for the section/UFS I would likely have given up spending money/wasting my time. The matchday experience is not as enjoyable without it.
  3. I know that it happens, when we are losing or playing badly on the pitch, the stadium goes quiet. The point I am making is that it's down to us fans to change that. Just because we are playing badly, doesn't mean we have to be silent. It's not inspiring and it is hard work but that just requires extra effort from individuals. It's like saying player X and Y had a bad game because the team didn't play well. In those moments you need individuals to step up and try and change things.
  4. Football on the pitch dictates the atmosphere - this is obviously true to some extent but it's a lazy excuse. Make some effort to change that. If that's the excuse you want to use, take a deep look in the mirror. Songbook is thin - again, lame excuse. Is it really? Plenty of songs around that regularly get aired. It might seem thin because trying to keep an atmosphere for 90 mins means repeating a lot of them multiple times. New songs are rubbish or not being aired - new songs do get aired. Some that haven't been tried, get them going, don't solely rely on UFS/SK1. In fact, some of the newer songs UFS try get bashed. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Songs are repetitive and last too long - this happens to try and get people to join in and prevent silence. Again, people need to pull their fingers out and join. "Oh I don't like that chant, I won't join in." Almost a 100% of the problems are people's attitude. It's horrific at times. If people could be bothered to back the team for 90 mins no matter what is happening on the pitch, there would be no need for all these discussions. That's the crux of it. But people will find multiple excuses to cover that. Yes, UFS can improve but everything is done with the aim of getting behind the team and getting others to join in. Chants are started because very rarely, others do. Thus it is mostly driven by UFS but if others are loud enough, that does not always have to be the case. There can be improvements on starting the "right" songs at the right time. Within UFS, this is something we look to do regularly but we are not perfect. A lot of the time it requires some quick thinking. In summary, we all need to be better if we want to improve the atmosphere. If you leave the ground knowing you gave it everything, you have done your job. I bet you will struggle to find many more than 100 or so who could really say that.
  5. Either you are being fed some rubbish info or you are making a stereotype out of people in SK1. The general consensus is that most people in there understand the different types of support. L1 is a different type of supporter to the majority in SK1. People understand that. However, there are 28,000+ other supporters who don't really get involved with either and I am not having the fact that all those are happy clappers, sit down types. A fair few probably, but not all. So the biggest concern is how to bring more into the singing section who will give it a good go and those who don't like that style of support but want to contribute, get them to L1 (or now P block if that's the future for them). Both can exist and will benefit the atmosphere but it needs those sitting on the fence or not pulling their weight to get involved. Club don't help but there is still enough power with the people if they really want to make a difference. You mention the guy with his back to the pitch not supporting the team. Why do you actually think that? Do you think he does nothing to contribute to the atmosphere? If you actually knew a bit more about why he does that, then maybe you realise how wrong you are. Considering how "liberal" you are, you really do moan about SK1/the singing section a lot.
  6. No, you can pass your season ticket on to someone in your friends and family up to 5 times per season. They do not need a membership. I did this the other week for Villa, Someone just created an account, I linked it to mine and passed them the ticket for that match.
  7. 12 points if we are going to stay up comfortably this season.
  8. In theory, Ipswich vs Leicester shouldn't be a TV game but you never know. I think Man U and Chelsea games will be our TV picks for November. Maybe even just Chelsea.
  9. Cardiff had a much smaller standing area. When over 90% is standing like at Southampton, that should give enough people the chance to buy in the standing area. According to surveys 85-90% of people are in favour of standing, so those numbers match up.
  10. November's selections due by the end of this week.
  11. There are literally over 2,800 safe standing spots to choose from with only 150 odd seats. So yes, those seats will genuinely have sitters in it.
  12. The problem is, if they know you have a digital ticket, that excuse won't work. You can hope that they don't check if you paid for a physical card or not.
  13. Both of those teams or other teams in that area you should be able to buy through club. Only exceptions are local derbies or big games like Bayern/Dortmund etc. HSV best chance as 2.Liga.
  14. You can forget Dortmund through official means. Best chance would be to go in the away end if the team don't sell out.
  15. I know someone who tried it and got nowhere. So your chances are slim.
  16. Points deduction, we're waiting for you. Ahhhhhhhh
  17. Might have dreamt this but pretty sure away tickets cannot be more expensive than home tickets. Walsall will see it as a money spinner.
  18. Would think so yes.
  19. There was a game against Fleetwood too, feel like only West Stand and possibly some of Kop open
  20. Does your dad look anything like your mum?
  21. There will be people there so it's a bit late. If the club would have just not reserved seats and shut the East Stand and maybe even North Stand, it would have been easy to do. They've probably sold around 5% of tickets so far. It's a League 2 side at home when schools are back, they really haven't used their brains once again. UFS will be in the usual spot, usual section. Would suggest people to move into SK1 if they want to be a part of the section. If we fill it out it will be good for the atmosphere in what will be a 10-12K crowd at best.
  22. Ideally minute's applause, players get set for KO and WYS then rings out. It does sort of fit in with the tribute too.
  23. 7 out of the first 9 matches are Saturday 15:00. People were moaning about PL meaning no Saturday 15:00 games.
