  1. Do you actually seriously believe that a manager in his biggest ever job, on a no doubt massive salary, with a team at the top of the championship, looking at promotion to the premier league - would quit because the purchase of an average player with a history of injuries fell through at the last minute? Or are you being ironic?!
  2. I agree, he sounded really defensive and patronising, explaining to us all that if a player is very good, then other teams will want to buy him, and that we're desperate because we're close to breaking FFP rules. It feels like his reputation is on the line now, which is another reason I really don't want us to sell KDH. I'd hate for him to be smug!
  3. I think if we sold KDH now there's a strong chance we wouldn't get promoted.
  4. How would it help us when there's no time to spend the money? Sure we'd have an extra £40m in the bank in the summer, but it won't have been worth it if we're still in the championship (which we easily could be if we lose KDH).
  5. Can the people who think £30 million (or even £50 million) would be good business explain to me how that works? With 5 days left of the transfer window, surely it’s irrelevant how much we get for him, because there’s no time to replace him.
  6. Surely it’s too late in the transfer window for this to happen ? Even if we got £100 million we wouldn’t have time to replace him . Summer maybe, but not now
  7. Also, I assume they’d have been training on Saturday, for a Monday night fixture. And despite knowing that this was his big chance, due to injuries etc, Hamza still went out on the piss on Friday night.
  8. Is anyone else a bit confused about this? I honestly believed he was committed to Leicester. He was our captain after Kasper left ffs! He always seemed happy, good banter with other players, no rumours about pushing for a move etc. So of course we were all upset when he was permanently injured, and knew he’d be disappointed that he wasn’t able to help us stay up. It was just a shame that he was getting older and his career was seemingly over due to recurring heel/hamstring/back problems. Except now he’s at Man U he’s fine, starting games, not coming off injured, playing enthusiastically. Was it all a lie?!! Or do they have miracle healers at Old Trafford?
  9. All Rodgers needed to do was get over his personal quarrel with Cags and play him instead of Amartey. That was it. We’d have stayed up, even without buying anyone.
  10. Can anyone give me an update on seats left?
  11. That's horrible. Some people are scum.
  12. Ndidi is the loss that worries me most. The only 2 games we've lost this season were when he was injured, and Casedei just isn't up to it.
  13. I’m sure if you contact the club they’ll arrange replacements
  14. Looks like there's one ticket left if anyone wants it
  15. It’s a public car park, not just for hospital use. And at the weekend it’s pretty empty because there are no outpatient clinics or routine procedures. And there’s a large area for disabled parking, people with mobility problems, and carers, which is separate from the multi-storey.
  16. If you want to buy food in the concourse, you have to order it on a screen and pick it up from the counter. You can order in advance for it to be ready at half time if you like, which saves queuing up. You’re not allowed to take bottles of water in, but the strictness of this rule seems to vary with different turnstiles. I’m always checked but friends in different parts of the ground never are.
  17. We once parked at freemans industrial estate and it took 2 hours to get out!
  18. Also, I’ve got a feeling the shop closes during the game, so wouldn’t be open for shopping afterwards. I could be wrong though. If I were you, I’d park at the LRI, get there early, go to the shop, go for lunch at McDonald’s, then head to the game. Morrisons also has a cafe.
  19. If you want easy affordable parking that is pretty much guaranteed, I would go to the Leicester Royal Infirmary multi-storey. It’s about £5. You pay at the machines on your return to the car park, input your car reg, and it lets you out of the barrier by reg plate recognition. It can take a little while to get out as a lot of people are leaving at the same time. The Leicester Royal Infirmary multi-storey is a 10 minute walk to the stadium. You can take a 2 minute detour en route, and go to McDonald’s, next to Morrisons supermarket. If your nephew is an average 12 year old, that’s probably where he’ll want to eat! If you want to go to the stadium shop, I would arrive early, as it can get busy on match days. If you google the Morrisons, McDonald’s, LRI and King Power stadium, you’ll see they’re all very close to each other. When my kids were younger we used to hang around for autographs sometimes. It usually took 1-2 hours before any players started to emerge, by which time we nearly had hypothermia. I remember in the 15/16 season we waited till nearly 8pm for Jamie Vardy, but the kids were so happy it was worth it. The place to wait is the players car park, which is pretty much next to the stadium shop entrance. You’ll know it because of all the cars that cost more than a house! I hope we win!!
  20. Exactly! The memo probably said Vestergaard should header it and then they should pass it around at the back till the whistle blew. But KDH went rogue!
  21. Well why didn’t they beat us then?
  22. I was there too and thought it was a foul, but Vardy didn’t complain much did he, so I suppose it wasn’t
  23. Does anyone know if Faes is injured? He got injured last night but seemed OK and played on, then was subbed off at half time.
  24. Such a long journey for a totally shit match. It was the usual thing - Leicester clearly underestimated Sheffield, who attacked from the start and nearly scored in the first few minutes. They played a high line that we couldn’t handle, but still managed to defend well too. But we weren’t worried, because we knew Enzo would address this at half time and change tactics…..or so we thought. But no, one trick pony Enzo had us playing exactly the same in the second half. We were lucky to only concede one goal. It drives me insane that with 2 minutes left at 1-0 up, we piss about passing the ball around the back. Why not just hoof it up the pitch to waste time ?😡. Very frustrating, and entirely our own fault, for not managing to adapt to Sheffield’s style of play. If we get promoted we have to sack Enzo or we’ll go straight back down, without doubt.
  25. I liked how Fatawu ran straight over to him to pick him up
