Steve Cooper SACKED! OFFICIAL!
Mike the Metal Ed replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is great, but I don't trust the board to get anyone good, or even cast their net very far at all. -
We look like we're coached by a competition winner and have done since day one. We all knew we were up against a professional today in stark contrast to what we have and so it showed.

New Fanstore opening at Highcross

People keep saying that yet I visit all the time and it's... fine? Less that holds my interests than when I was a kid or teenager, but that's just the modern corporate world in general. -
New Fanstore opening at Highcross

I think it was here (the blue one). Hasn't been much used for much since it closed. It closed around the time of the stadium move, and there was a small section inside Dominoes for a time where you could even buy match tickets from a pre-printed selection they kept in a binder. -
They sell other clubs stuff and existed alongside the old Churchgate club shop. I reckon they'll be alright.

Losing mainstays like Debenhams and Topshop was always going to hurt it, there's still plenty there if you want a coffee or go clothes shopping. Much like the centre in general outside of Silver Street and the Lanes it could do with inviting more independent stores as the asset strippers move in on any high street brand that's remotely struggling. It's not even really a Leicester thing, the Arndale looks a little sadder than when I moved to Manchester 7 years ago too.

KPFC Marketing 101: No, don't advertise it to people who might walk past on a regular basis, nobody builds hype like that any more. We've got an INCREDIBLE social media reveal lined up.

I was in Highcross this weekend and they kept that quiet You'd think they'd put up, you know, a board to say what they're building there.

The deluded Social Media posts of LCFC

Oh, hello. What's going on? -
-
It's not well-advertised enough but you could have gotten off at Wharfside on the Trafford Centre line, Exchange Quay on the Eccles line or of course Old Trafford on the Altrincham line, all are within walking distance of the ground, that's probably why people were being advised to take any tram going in that direction. The Metties won't want to send every single group of fans to the same Met stop when they can split the foot trafffic between three.

Got my ticket months ago. My dad's also hugely into them so we're going to see them every tour we can now.

"Probably should have stayed at home"
Mike the Metal Ed replied to TiffToff88's topic in Leicester City Forum
The UK lifted all COVID travel restrictions the day I was due to fly out to Aarhus for the Randers game (pub, sadly, I booked a flight and then realised there'd only be around 400 away tickets), so I masked up while feeling awful and headed to Denmark.Didn't feel well enough to make the trip to Turf Moor a few days later -
Dogshit.

It's probably because they consider "the stadium" to cover the area outside with the shite band, the kids attractions etc, so they use that to specify the stadium seating. It's still awful phrasing though.
-
I don't. I can't see the future else I'd be very rich. But even his fans on here can only point to "the goal is to stay up this season" and thinking nothing beyond that. I just don't see any semblance of a long term plan from the manager or anyone above him. If there is one feel free to explain it, I'm very open minded.

Is the reaction on here to losing 3-0 to Barnsley under NP wholly representative of how people eternally feel about his time at the club then? Any idiot can pick out an overreaction to two consecutive awful results (and before you start yeah I probably said something stupid after the Plymouth and Millwall games too, doesn't mean there was a consistent call for him to go from those same people). Cooper still won't build a solid foundation here no matter how much we will it that it he could. Is there a point staying up this season to be in the same position the next when we lose Buonanotte and he signs more Championship tat?

He sounds like he got the job by imitating the EAFC stadium announcer.

Impossible. From what I've heard, there are 5 criminals for every decent, Daily Mail-reading person who dares walk the streets.

Because you don't compliment someone for remembering in which order to put on their pants and trousers.

Radio Leicester coverage

Barraclough's best line on RL on Saturday was when he said he doesn't think the late substitutions were bad ones, because he can't remember them touching the ball. Effective substitutes then.
