  1. We beat Sheffield Wednesday, but needed Bournemouth to beat QPR to confirm promotion, which they did.
  2. For starters if you want to pass it to a specific person you have to phone up which is already a barrier for some.
  3. Imagine a football executive having a conscience.
  4. VAR robbing the game of emotional moments again is it? I don't care that it's Cov, it's nonsense.
  5. It's a fair comment TBF even after his invaluable contribution today. There's a time for Hamza and it's when you need bite in the midfield to disrupt the opposition. We lacked it quite a bit during our Europa League campaign when we were, if anything, too nice. He is not a player who should be playing an advanced role like he's been asked to.
  6. That is the baffling one and something he needs to work on.
  7. It was Wolves last season so there's something in the water that way.
  8. I'm just glad that our "bottler" players have got more nerve than our supporters based on what I saw and heard today.
  9. ...I don't want to make a fuss.
  10. Feels like he's fast tracked three years of Micky Adams into less than one. New blood following disaster, then looking fantastic and on course to bring back the good times then to lurching from disaster to disaster and completely out of ideas. I'm not a trigger puller when it comes to managers. Even up to the Bristol City game I could see where he's coming from and generally I have been enjoying the football for the most part. The last few performances I've completely lost faith in him and do not trust him to take us into the playoff campaign we are inevitably going to fall into.
  11. Watched an hour or so of the Sens game last night, til Winnipeg scored to make it 2-2, not wanting to stay up late for the inevitable only for the Senators to win it without even needing overtime
  12. Around 60 minutes in, we had the chance to take the initiative with some smart changes. Nacho wouldn't have been my first choice but to his credit but for a hair offside he showed he might have produced something. But everything off the bench was too slow and miles behind the opposition and not for first time in recent months. This one is 100% on Enzo.
  13. This is the one thing I genuinely can't defend or see at least the reasoning behind.
  14. Good decision to bring Ricardo on... 20 minutes ago.
  15. Careful, admitting that sometimes our luck has been against us and the team aren't the worst of all time really annoys the people who are desperate for us to be shit.
  16. Swear loads here will insist on having "Yeah but Hamza wore the armband after getting done for drink driving" on their headstones, such a monumentous occasion it was in their lives. The club dealt with it internally however they saw fit. It was stupid, he thankfully didn't hurt anyone, it's in the past.
  17. Good job they've got him and he played today then. You might as well talk about what would have happened if they'd given Dmitri Kharine the gloves today.
  18. Tbf I took a mate to the game last night who bought a programme and the first thing he pointed out was how big Sunderland's listed squad was compared to ours. We've also used the 4th fewest players in the division this Championship season, and we've used a fair amount of the resources available to us. The last few weeks has shown that it doesn't take much in the way of injuries to leave us light.
  19. Not so sure, while the middle section of the away end was pretty decent last night, without a drum there's not a whole lot to either slow things down, or keep things going once they start.
  20. I did think like that earlier, but whatever happens, we won the one that mattered.
  21. Zhang seems like a great lad, clearly has grown to love the club and his part in UFS in such a relatively short time. Great read, too.
  22. Remember him at Barnsley, not so much Leicester.
  23. Anyone remember Bruno N'Gotty doing the same thing at a home game v Wolves or maybe Southampton? In my memory he just charged right down the middle of the pitch as the opposition parted for him like the Red Sea.
  24. By that same token, in most places where you need accommodations, the only people seemingly bothered about hard evidence are at LCFC and the DWP, both because they've become incredibly petty/malicious organisations.
  25. It was obvious on the offside that wasn't tbh. It's like seeing an opening batsman dropped on 5. You know he's going on to make a ton from that point onwards.
