We're going to lose to New Zealand after a Chris Wood masterclass aren't we?

Just like 2014 with Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica...

Two UEFA teams per group is the max allowed.

I misread Cote d'Ivoire as "VOID" before it was unfurled. That would have livened things up

We already have two European teams in our group so we can't draw Scotland.

Terry Wogan talking over the top of this would have added something.

Loving Canada being a top seed, takes me back to the top European sides complaining about us being in Pot 1 in 2016,

Should have been Zdeno Chara to make Shaq feel small.

The board thinks the project is to speed run to the Premier League and then magically at least become midtable again. We know the project is to rebuild a solid foundation first.

I think we need to start a Monks Out thread then.

Would you want us to be relegated to L1?
Mike the Metal Ed replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
Our revival last time had nothing to do with being relegated other than it got Holloway sacked and we lucked into the right person. Pearson could have started that process from the bottom half of the Championship. We also had much lower running costs from being broke for years. If we went down this time they'd still continue to appoint absolute duffers, and we're absolutely up to our eyeballs in debt from Top trying to secure transfer money for our lame duck attempts at staying in the Premier League. Could the club even survive it? -
Yeah I dunno what it says about the way we get information these days but I've definitely had moments where I forgot that if City score, I'll be among the first 30,000 to know.

Notts at home on May Day weekend should be great -
When Fuchs went into management in my Football Manager save he made Shinji his assistant. Gwon Fuchsy, make the dream team a reality.

What on the roads has annoyed you today?

I got beeped for turning right onto my own driveway, in a controlled manner that would guarantee I didn't end up ramming into my gates (I promise you I wasn't slow, and signalled right in enough time). Next time I'll reverse in, in full accordance with the highway code, just because that takes ever-so-slightly longer. -
Muzzy Izzet - every team needs one!

I was so proud when I was looking at the stats in a Merlin album one season and Steve Guppy had better either crossing or corners stats than David Beckham. -
No, but purely because he's been seriously ill and if he was ready to return to management, he would be.

Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD
Mike the Metal Ed replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
I made my decision to not renew my season ticket almost entirely on the attitudes of the fans around me towards the end of last season, yes. I couldn't tolerate being around King Power supporters any longer. Secondary was having to miss the Arsenal game due to work and realising I had a much better time without the football. -

It's saving me the trouble of driving down from Salford to watch this shit so more power to them I guess. I'll be back when they've all ****ed off. -
Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD
Mike the Metal Ed replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
Are you saying that all the people clapping this kind of shit off the pitch only started going to games in the last decade and that's where they learned this behaviour? Because if so, I agree with you. If your claim is that this many fans have been doing this kind of thing for longer than that, then that's simply not true. I never said what I did or didn't do therefore anything. -

What club were they watching if they think that the fans in the 90s and 2000s clapped players off after these kinds of performances? You don't learn this behaviour over attending decades ago because it didn't happen. -
That keen to guarantee your seat for League Two?
