I'm going to try and keep my post as non reactionary as possible..but... We've likely got the best, and most expensive team this division has ever seen yet we're seeing the same mistakes now as we were at the beginning of the season. I genuinely can't name a game this season where we've dominated and looked solid for the full 90. We insist on this possession based football, which i fully understand and have become more accepting of, but when we do make all of those passes, and create a break through, we look completely lost. We don't seem to be able to get our strikers involved in the game and whenever we manage to get a goal, we seem to go ultra negative as if we are holding out a 3 goal lead. I thought we were very good first half. Won almost all 50/50's and dominated. Second half we couldn't have done much more to get them a goal other than actually put it in the net for them (Which, ironically they did for us). My frustration doesn't necessarily come from dropping points today, it comes from how we do it - That was an absolute gift of a point for Ipswich. The 'But we're top' brigade are going to be in for a real shock when we enter the Premier League next season with these tactics and, bar a couple of new faces, the same squad.

Utter dross.

Not sure what's best, the fact that as soon as Rooney arrives at Birmingham they stop winning, or the fact that as soon as he leaves, they are back to getting results.

I think a lot of teams see him as our key player so hopefully it's a bit of false advertising that he will be out. I hope he is fit for Monday, and I'd be suprised if he wasn't.

A couple of saves that are made to look like wonder saves but in reality, think he'd be dissapointed if either went in.

Southampton play very similar to ourselves. Look great when they are in possession but invite a lot of pressure when trying to play out from the back with suicide balls. Not sure how Swansea haven't scored again.

I'd imagine some of it is down to the extra appreciation of travelling to watch the game.

Funny you say that, i recently got a tax return cheque and it was a nightmare to pay it in with Nationwide. Unlike most other banks, couldn't do it at the cash point, branches were closed on Sunday & couldn't do it at the Post Office. Only joined Nationwide for my £200 offer!

Yeah, I see a different team to last season. Last season was a bunch of players already focused on who their new club would be once they took us down. This season, I see a bunch of players showing passion and wanting to impress. You look at our defence, one does a good tackle or block and they are all high fiving, chest bumping and everything. I do see some real passion.

I'd say KDH & Choudhury were the only players for us who really knew the rivalry. It's probably a fixture he's been looking forward to all season and I recall comments the last time we played them whereby he said he's been getting a bit of grief from Coventry supporter mates. Tie that in with us losing, they way we lost, the way they celebrated (Inc a coventry player doing a crying gesture towards leicetser fans)..... And to top it off, the interview was probably less than an hour after the final whistle. It's just raw emotion. I'm sure if he was interviewed today, he's answer different. I love it, shows he cares but people always need to winge about something.

Probably not only one, but certainly in the minority. Okay we weren't setting the world alight, but we were controlling the game and the way it was going, I'd say we would be more likely to have got a second than Coventry an equilisier. After the sending off, we had to change shape and sacrifice any attacking threat. The 1 man advantage, and our lack of offense, I thoroughly believe to be the only reason we didn't come away with 3 points. That's not a dig at Fatawu. Silly tackle but he's young, it's part of his learning and I love him. Blokes a nut case.

What don't you like? Some footballers are better in front of a camera than others. I think he's just making snide digs about how Coventry celebrated like it was a cup final. Could see choudhury after the game laughing and pointing at the Coventry players celebrations. All I see is a KDH who's gutted at the result and taking a bit of a stab at the scum. I like it. KDH probably one of the few players on the pitch who even knew the significance of the rivalry.

I agree, baring in mind how they bigged themselves up, thought their atmosphere was rubbish until they equalised. Once they got their goal, they were very vocal but it all came from one section. The celebration when they scored against us, and after the final whistle, tells you all you need to know about how far ahead of them we are as a club. Genuinly like a cup final for them.

Weirdly, despite this being one of heaviest defeats, and against Coventry....I've come away more frustrated at other losses than I have today. I think I had come to terms at half time that we weren't going to come away with 3 points.

Whilst I can't name a player who played particularly great, I don't think anyone was particularly bad. We lost down to them having the extra man. They have quality and we allowed them to use it with that extra man. Like others have said, it will be forgotten about come next week.
