I feel like I've already hit rock bottom early. Maybe the relegation season still haunts me? So, I'm going to with nothing but blind faith believe we will be okay 'in the end'. Why? Something good will transpire in the January window and we will strengthen just about in the right areas. Madds will make a recovery sooner than expected Our team will some how beat QPR in the cup (Alves scores) and we take that confidence boost into the palace game and win. Mean while results go badly for our relegation rivals. After that we can build on those results and get vital more points for safety. Of course all of this is pure wishful thinking but entirely possible if these players of ours actually believe they can get themselves out of this mess. We live in hope and in Ruud we have to trust.

That’s a fair minded perspective. i just don’t know where we are gonna get points from if every type of game or opposition pulls up in good form or bad and we still can’t seem to come away with anything. Where is the bloody mindedness from our players to fight blood and guts for a point? Penny has dropped so Many times I’ve lost count and we still have not changed our fortunes

Ruud has to drop JJ for the love of god. just anything is better than persevering another game. Tbh he held it together for a the longest time. Really sad to see us suffer like this. I long for the days where we could handle the business in the premier league

There’s two way to see this and your both right. Anything can happen in this window. Personally I don’t care for big time Charlie’s trying to prove their worth so they can get back in the good books of their current employers. Ruud will be looking to the Dutch leagues naturally and I hope he finds gold unlike Eric10hagg. We need players who can slot in immediately and make an impact. Our current plight cannot afford a lengthy hopeful honeymoon period. We need hunger, desire, fight and ambition. We’ve seen this before under Rogers where Alvez looked close to making a proper senior debut. Sadly the injury halted his progress. Than came relegation and cooper. I’m really encouraged by Ruud taking a shine to Alvez. He sees the potential and now it’s all about timing. I think we will see Alvez in a cup game soon. Hope he takes that opportunity to really shine and impress our new manager. One thing we know is RVN loves to develop promising young talent.
