  1. Rick is right. If you watch the latest video made by lcfc Alvez has bulked up. The sheer amount of gym work and weights he’s been doing isn’t just all for his legs. It’s been like a year hasn’t it? So he’s also growing and getting taller. He’s been well looked after by the club. We all just have to be patient a little while longer.
  2. I really do hope Alvez makes it into the 1st team and the others too. At the moment there are solid 1st team players still sitting on the bench so I’m really not sure what Enzo’s plan is at the mo. He seems very vague when questioned about it. At some point we need to see fresh impetus especially when we have games where we are struggling but hey easy for me to say I’m not Enzo. He coukd do what we all ask for and if it goes pear shaped we’d be on his back straight away lol.
  3. We can’t afford to have passengers I’m sorry we just can’t. Games are passing us by with opportunities that don’t get taken we will regret if we’re not careful. Enzo said we will lose some games in this league but how many? I hope we reached our limit and now we finally use those extra gears. Time to go on another winning streak. Put all the doubts to bed.
  4. Are we finally gonna release the cannon? enzo has to play his at some point surely? throw him in let’s see what he can do ffs!
  5. We still owe Enzo some latitude. Yes these performances are simply not good enough and he came out and said so in general and specific players. I think we will see a major response against the baggies this weekend. Hope we win emphatically and then sustain that run with consistency. Easier said than done I know but that’s what we really need. Cmon foxes
  6. Look the last few weeks have not been fun for any of us to endure watching at the game or online. 1st half today yes felt like we were still going through the motions but damn when we stepped it up a few gears we were different gravy. mavididi has been getting a lot of bollocking on here and rightly so but he ran his defenders ragged today. Some of those dribbles were insane. He outshone fatawu for once. vardy became a man possessed after he fluffed 2 golden sitters and you could just sense he wasn’t gone give up until he scored. I’m glad we finished the way we did as that confidence will bleed into the next game. Let’s go foxes! plus our nearest challengers all bottled today ha! Justice
  7. The missed chances I did not like but the difference is they were trying and it was clearly vexing the players so up went the gears and intensity and we blew watford away. These are the gears and determination we needed in the last few games. Glad the boys have found their mojo again. Oh and hell has no fury like a Vardy scorned! (now hope Ipswich starts fumbling today)
  8. If anyone on here has suffered a complete ACL rupture and meniscus damage you’ll know the seriousness of the injury. To replace the torn ligament another surgery is required usually from the hamstring to use as the new ligament. Surgeons also have to go in and clean up all the scarring in the meniscus. Let’s just say your knee is very angry after this much invasive trauma! Seeing alvez’s knee brings back some bad memories for me. Yeh it really does look like a swollen hot potatoe. That swelling does not go down easily despite all the drugs and cold therapy. The crutches, the exercises, hopping to the toilet on 1 leg or taking showers sitting on a still , the braces it’s tough stuff. Mentally you suffer bouts of depression where you wonder if you will ever walk again let alone run and play comp soccer. It’s a slow arduous process and you need support from everyone around you to get thru it. Not a journey i recommend to anyone. young Alvez is progressing well and I hope he rediscovers the magic he had in his feet. He’s fiercely ambitious and that’s important if he’s gonna make it into the 1st team. I wish him the very best of luck in making his come back - Lester needs players like him coming thru.
  9. Jokes aside lads this player deserves some spotlight rather than disapear into history. First player of Asian descent to play for England and this was back when the Asian community in England was in the 100’s! its 2023 and I’m still waiting for any Asian player to rise up thru the ranks and represent England. I hope it still happens in my lifetime.
  10. Wow this kid is a dribbling machine! Some of those moves are rediculous. Unlike many freestylers he’s got an end product too. Hope the club have drafted him into the academy asap. Bravo
  11. So they were doing fine shooting on goal & scoring for fun before but I do remember they would miss a bunch of sitters too every game. The difference maybe that the goals aren’t happening so easily that it’s affecting confidence in the final 3rd. Over thinking it maybe? Something has gone missing and Enzo needs to find it over the break.
  12. After the break this team and Enzo. Reds tk set them up right is to come out fighting full blood and thunder. Be ruthless and put the game to bed in the first half. Take that confidence and use it for the next run of games. It sounds simple And maybe it is but maybe it isn’t if the players are allowed to dwell on the defeats. They’ve gotta remember where they come from and find that edge again. if it’s a limp struggle next game than of course fans are gonna start piling on. Cmon Enzo get this race horse going again!
  13. I'm done here. That was a really frustrating watch. Time to get on with the rest of the day.
  14. I think you nailed it. When we out possessed teams and had that ruthless cutting edge in front of goal it was a double threat. So every time we get on the ball teams used to freak out as they knew the outcome. Now they are realizing we are toothless and so aren't too bothered when we have 70+ possession as we are no danger to them except in patches. That fear factor has been eroded and I fear the rest of the league have caught onto it. Enzo needs to fix this and quickly or I see us struggling more week in and week out.
  15. We love you Enzo but you've some answering to do and don't say "we will lose more games" like its some pre-emptive strategy. All things being equal these last few games simple have not been good enough. We are struggling and its clear to see. I'm keeping the faith. We still have a lead (I think) and there's an international break now to have words with the team. Sad loss today.
  16. silly hamza foul = great free kick to bet Herm = we gonna lose this game.
  17. c'mon lester we have them on the ropes just finish them off now ffs!
  18. We've set a standard and are simply failing to meet it. In fact its fair to see we're quite off it. We need a goal so badly to relieve the self inflicted pressure.
  19. Gears need changing and put boro to rest asap!
  20. Can anyone share any decent streams please?
  21. Lol that was funny. Klopp looks really agitated! He’s almost muppet like his body language. He just wants to go home!
  22. Poor madders it was inevitable wasn’t it? he was on such a good run with spuds. With us it was his hip issues. This time he’s messed his ankle up. That’s a long time out injured. Spuds are gonna lose their momentum now without these key players. can’t say we didn’t warn about madders fragility.
  23. Mendy would have done fine in the championship and maybe even excelled to a new level under Enzo. We will never know. I will never question his professionalism and patience under a turgid Rogers reign.
  24. Let Leeds enjoy their little win. We will put them in their place (hopefully ruthlessly) in the return fixture. Then we’ll see what the media lap dogs have to say.
  25. We play them again at elland road and I expect a much better performance from our team. Until then I’ll cut Enzo some slack. Leeds will play the same way against us probably.
