Goody goody can’t wait to tune in this morning. Only gripe is why we have to wait for so long for the pod. Ric can you not get the lads to do 2 pods a week pretty please? ( I know it’s easy for me to say lol)

One word to describe that game: COMICAL

Enzo will quietly want to put the Leeds result to bed. He’s learnt a lot from his time at city coaching the top dog and the pressure of staying ahead of the chasing pack especially after they’ve had an off day. The players need to regain their fighting form as it’s dulled a little lately. Maybe it is fatigue creeping in. Leeds was Wake up call. I predict we will come good and best boro confidently. ‘If’ we somehow don’t and the performance is off again we have the right to question Enzo and know what’s up.

There’s a Birds Eye view camera angle that was eventually used in the World Cup to decide the ball had not gone over the line. the outter diameter of the ball looks bigger this way. not sure where the camera is at st James park but maybe it’s the flyover ones on suspended cables? Anyway they didn’t have that which Would have made the call 100% conclusive. Very tricky imo

Oh for farksake! we just didn’t have any real threat once we approached their box. What happened to our extra gears? Were the lads not up for this game? Why didn’t macateer come on to inject some threat and energy. Vardy was bumbling around lost. Just don’t know what we were trying to do in this game? wish fatawu scored that goal. Smellier makes a great save at the end. Should have been 1-1 oh well reality check I guess.

I can’t wait to see the game when Alvez gets another run out for our 1st team. seems like an eternity since Rogers unveiled him against wolves and got us all excited. Hated Rogers being a big party pooper too. Let the kid play ffs he was running rings around wolves. enzo will let Alvez play and have fun.

Right then we’ve been saying for a while now that we have several more gears which we’ve used momentarily in some games. Against Leeds I hope to see us go into TOP gear and see what that looks like. My guess is it will pull apart Leeds apart. They’ve shown many more vulnerabilities than us from their past games. Leeds attacking trio are only a threat if they see the ball and have time and space to do something with it. We can effectively choke them out like we did in the premier league. COYF!

This is the game where we need to be 100% clinical with finishing our chances! Leeds will attack and create chances - then scoring is gonna depend on how resolute our defence and goalie is on the day. will be a tight affair with high intensity all the way to the end. Game management!

Like they say it’s a king season and we’re gonna get games that aren’t pretty and maybe even down right frustrating to watch. enzo will find a way to win it and has instilled something in these players to give them supreme belief they can still always win the game over 90 min. we’ve all been horribly scarred by Rogers and last season. Those scars don’t go away easily. It’s not our fault that doubts creep in when the going gets tough. However we’ve seen enough to know we have a great team in the making and we will find a way that’s how good we are. #Keep the faith

Some of the most prolific young players we have seen like Ronaldo, rooney, Bellingham, gavi etc all were fierce ballers. They loved the ball and wanted it all the time. There is no fear just sheer desire to do something good with it. Alvez displays the same traits. I just hope mentally he is strong especially when hard tackles come flying in. I know I was petrified for a while everytime I got barged off the ball. Thought my knee would go out so you change your behaviour to protect it and it does affect your natural game. Alvez is a pro and has the very best support around him so will be fine in the end.

It’s one of them games lads. Let’s just see this safely over the line nah the 3 points and learn something from this

If he’s over his injury the next level for Alvez is to rediscover his talent for dribbling and taking on players. Maresca will work wonders with him in molding him into the best version of himself. There’s more to this game for sure and to be a complete player you have to have a lot more to your game. feeling really good about Alvez and braybrook coming thru. What a treat this will be for us as we step another gear 2nd half of the season.

Anyone else waiting for ‘the’ game where Enzo has to put the team thru all its gears? I wanna see what what max HP this team has.
