  1. That's way too sensible a suggestion for Kvnt Top and Dudkin to even contemplate. How very dare you have such a sensible idea, stop that immediately 😁 I see youth next season as critical to our survival. Finances are shot, so a wholesale mass transfer frenzy is highly unlikely, (plus I have zero confidence that the tw@ts in recruitment would get anything right) so a bridge between the 1st team and the talent pool of the U21's is quite an astute idea really. The concern I do have is League One is a horrendous, rough, dog eat dog League and the importance of at least putting up a fist gaining promotion, would the pressure be too great for M Sweeney?
  2. How have you come to that conclusion? Show me some quotes of posts made by those that have insinuated that, and than give them the opportunity to put the record straight.... What's actually happening is people are quoting the number of seat sales to highlight that the wider LCFC fanbase, and not just some posters here on Foxestalk aren't really bothered about the idea of the match or they also possibly think the timing is ill thought out, or even an unknown other personal reason. But with only a few over 3000 sales regardless, paints it's own picture that it's not really wanted by fans, for whatever reason that they chose to stay away, even if it's glammed up as a charity event. For comparison, The Atalanta pre season game got 13200 or so, that was for a game that fans wanted to attend, that fans actually had an interest in. For the players whoever they may be, that do eventually take to the field representing the 2016 team, any embarrassment they feel won't be down to the fans or those objecting to the match here on the form, no, the onus will be on the club for putting on an event that poor sales proves the fans don't want or think is a poor ill thought out idea. Makes you wonder doesn't it.........
  3. I 100% get where you are coming from here.. and agree with your post, but I think that we are so far up the creek without a paddle and with an added problem of a hole in the bottom that promotion is a must, especially from a financial standpoint. Normally I'd hope that we would appointed a manager with a view to grow and improve each season, but I don't think currently we have the luxury of that option at present. But hey....it's all academic anyway as Kvnt Top, Teflon Jon and Co.will just follow form and continue to fvck everything up in exactly the same way, making carbon copies of the same mistakes.
  4. I don’t think anyone genuinely believes a charity match is going to hypnotise the fanbase into forgetting we’ve just been relegated. The biggest point people are try to make, and some are still failing to recognise, is it’s the timing that jars, the club hasn't read the room. Yet again. When the club is still dealing with the fallout of dropping into League One, rolling out a big celebration of the Premier League win from 10 years ago feels… awkward is the nicest way some could put it. Me I think it's crass. It's almost like we’re being nudged to wrap ourselves in the warm glow of 2016 while the present situation is still smouldering in the background. — just that, right now, it risks looking like the club is leaning on nostalgia at the exact moment supporters are expecting accountability (not that that will ever happen) or planning for the future. So it’s not about fans being ā€œstupidā€ or easily distracted. It’s simply that celebrating our highest moment immediately after one of our lowest is always going to raise eyebrows That's that underlying problem most, if not all have with the match. Yes it may have been mooted as possibility of happening at the De Mont event you mentioned, but that doesn't mean it actually has to happen, the club still has the freedom to exercise some levels of common sense and ask, 'should we still do this', 'is the timing quite right' And it seems with the pi$$ poor ticket sales to date the wider fanbase outside of Foxestalk thinks not also.
  5. Again No substance to quantify the content of the post. In your view you claim we are "such nasty people"....... why? if you are going to label people or an individual something you have to state why or it lacks context and it means nothing. OK then I'll do the same as you then. I can't stand Mariah Carey
  6. OK then, How should people who what to challenge the Club and hold them accountable for their incompetence do it then? You said you don't have a problem with the fact that others and I want to challenge the club, so obviously you have your view on it for you to post "its the way that you do it" Enlighten us to a better way then.
  7. No, apparently not. Still skirting around answering the questions as well isn't he / she. Also not knowing the meaning of the term "happy clappers" really Ha Ha that tickled me...
  8. OK then. Bearing in mind your post above. What should we as a fanbase do then? Also taking in consideration your earlier post of EVERYONE KNOWS WE ARE IN AN INEXCUSABLE MESS And also. and the sooner they all go, the better..
  9. OK then with a bit of luck you and your agent will actively look to gain you a move as you are so desperate to "try" and play.what you class as football outside of League One... Hurry up....chop chop sick note.
  10. I must be in the minority that doesn't get what all the fuss is about her.
  11. Ha, Was expecting just this. The same response everytime and never has anyone who when asked come up with some responses, Those clapping (if you do or not, only you know) are actully condoning and accepting the mess, because by not challenging KP and their catalogue of failings that are still damaging the club as we speak are in fact just letting them continue unchallenged to wreak more havoc. All by standing in the crowd blindly clapping, and hiding behind phrases of supporting the club. Much the same as you did in this reply (Doesn’t mean you suddenly should stop supporting something that’s been in your blood for years.) You also said above: EVERYONE KNOWS WE ARE IN AN INEXCUSABLE MESS And also. and the sooner they all go, the better.. Standing there clapping or even in silence is just inaction and inaction won't achieve and remove what you claim to understand and can't wait to happen . Inaction is just letting KP know it's OK to continue as is....
  12. Nope... It's not about objecting to fans going to matches that 'they have no intention of attending" you've totally missed the point. With regards to 'this thread' some have a problem with the match, because of its timing, and the reason behind its adverting billing, in the form of it being a 'celebration of our Premiership win', which is undoubtedly our greatest achievement just when we are at our lowest point of relegation to League One, which some find a bit Crass by the club. Its about to some the club not reading the room and thinking maybe this isn't a good time as as relegation is too raw at the moment, again taking in consideration the reason for the match. If people want to go (all 3000+ or so to date) then go, and I hope they enjoy themselves. What is doesn't need is posters like Safetosurfthisbeach calling others a hateful fan base because they don't want to go and question the reason and timing of the match. Then post snide comments along the lines of - "Can I assume you all will not be attending matches next season? Or will you still go so that you can continue to moan and wallow in self pity?" Then not have the courage to explain this question when asked. Only childishly insulting by replying "I can't argue with Lard" wow is that really the best they can come up with. No the KPFC moniker is not actually being used for people attending a charity football match, but its being applied to the selection of fans who are oblivious or unwilling to question the overwhelming evidence of the mess the club is currently in, along with clapping and therefore condoning and showing appreciation for the numerous appalling, lackluster team performances. It baffles me why the only arguments the KPFC brigade come back with is their the loyalty to the club, "backing the lads" " through the good times and bad" and "backing the team not the regime". Which to me us the most stupid and out of touch phrase that could be used, as its the regime that is the root of our problems which cascades down to the poor team performances which they are supposedly backing. Are KPFC so happy with the current state of the club at the moment and therefore just happy to turn up, and clap wholesale failures on snd off the pitch, because that's all they actively do. OK I'll ask the same series of questions I posed earlier to safetosurfthis beach, who as of yet hasn't been able or willing to answer. Here goes... Explain why we shouldn't question The Owner, Rudkin and the clubs hierarchy and hold them accountable for the mess we are in. (and show our disgruntelment with protests etc) Explain why we shouldn't question the players lack of commitment, work ethic, lack luster performances week upon week. Explain why clapping players off after they have lost or thrown away points time after time is justified - we as humans clap to show appreciation of something good, worthwhile, and positive, then also hide behind the weak excuse of 'back the lad's' and prove you're a real supporter who cares for the club, or also bring up winning the Premiership as a great achievement under the KP Ownership as an argument. It was 10 years ago, under the guidance of Vichai. ALL of our current woes are under a different man, Top ! What happened ages back under a different regime and the vision of a different chairman, whilst great, has no bearing on our current situation. But Top's incompetence does! So, come back with some constructive answers to the above points and actually quantify them Go on, tell us all here on FoxesTalk why those who are challenging the club and those who DON’T clap failure are all wrong. You'd be the first KPFC to do so..
  13. Who else would prefer to watch this selection over the shower of sh1t that just got relegated More fight, passion and integrity in that bunch then our current crop of mercenaries, even in their advising years in footballing terms they'd probably give them good run for their money for 30 mins or so.
  14. I appreciate what you are saying, but they have to set a limit or risk any future involvement with the club. The club will let a certain amount "slide' in the interest of journalism but overstepping this unknown mark to us the listener would result in no post match interviews and potentially match day coverage. (The club has in house radio coverage and I bet they would love this as the only source) If be surprised of RL weren't aware of the accepted limit and Piper is possibly pushing the envelope as close as possible. An all out grilling as you and I, if im honest, just won't happen.
  15. Winger....naaa he's shown us that he's a lazy step over pony. Now if you want a real winger, one who actually worked, could truly cross, and tried to take on his man there was this bloke called Steve Gup.... On a serious note, I know who I'd want in my team and especially in League One. (Probably Keith Weller šŸ˜€)
  16. 100% agree with your post. However we have incompetent fvckwits running our club and a recruitment team thats as much use and affective as a chocolate heat shield on a space capsule. I just don't trust the tools in charge to get a manager with the required standards, mindset, and skills and the types of players you hilighted above and that are desperately needed. We need a competent board and Steve Walsh Snr, and not that clown Glover.
  17. Well I'm not the one who's childishly refering to another poster on the forum as 'Lard' and therefore unable to 'argue with them' am I? I'm also not the one who's insulting fans who have identified the fact that the owner, and the board have failed hideously for the 5 or 6 seasons and that 95% of the players couldn't care less and have displayed as much hence our football being played in league one, as a 'hateful fanbase'. I'm not the one who questioned fans for not attending a charity football match, !! What is wrong with you all? It is for charity...and it was announced months ago. If an event were not held it would be conspicuous by it's absence. You lot can find the negative in absolutely anything. Support another team if you find it so painful - and give the rest of us a break! I'm not the one who also said.. "Can I assume you all will not be attending matches next season? Or will you still go so that you can continue to moan and wallow in self pity?" And you still haven't offered an explanation, after a request as to why you posed this question. All your posts have been, snide, insuting to individuals or groups, childish, condescending, and silly so you are in no position to question an 'adult debate' as the extracts above posted by you prove. Up to now I've treated your posts with a bit of sarcasm, and replied a bit Tongue in cheek and a bit of a joke i.e. describing what Lard was and that you couldn't obviously communicate with it. So if you want an adult debate, let have one, explain why we shouldn't question The Owner, Rudkin and the clubs hierarchy and hold them accountable for the mess we are in. Explain why we shouldn't question the players lack of commitment, work ethic, lack luster performances week upon week. Explain why clapping players off after they have lost or thrown away points time after time is justified - we as humans clap to show appreciation of something good, worthwhile, and positive. Not the weak excuse of 'back the lad's' and prove you a real supporter who cares for the club. Or then brings up winning the Premiership as a great achievement under the KP Ownership as an argument. It was 10 years ago, under the guidance of Vichai, ALL of our current woes are under a different man, Top ! What happened ages back under a different regime whilst great has no bearing on our current situation. But Top's incompetence does! So ..come back with some constructive answers to the above points and actually quantify them this time. Go on, tell us all here on FoxesTalk why those who are challenging the club and those who DON’T clap failure are all wrong.
  18. Whilst the names being touted aren't the greatest Rowett still 100% needs to go. His record during his 14 games in charge is pretty sh1t. He's showed me nothing new, or different compaird to the previous manager's, and for all of his babber saying the situation needs bravery and changes and cultural adjustments, he had his chance to do all that and gave us all the grand sum of fvck all on that front. Cheero Gazza ma boy, you ain't what we need, and I wouldn't trust you with the rebuild either....
  19. God that is a face you so want to smack with a "four by two" with barbed wire wrapped around it. The smug half smile and fist under the chin makes me want to puke. The little waddling [email protected]
  20. All can go. C vnt Top, Rudkin, snd Glover for their running of the club, recruitment etc. Rowett as I think he's sh1t, a coward, a clone of past managers and his record during his 14 game nightmare with us speaks volumes for itself...
  21. Does anyone know when the official released and gone due to expired contract list is published?
  22. Really Gazza..brave There’s going to be some big decisions. It’s going to need someone who is brave enough to make those decisions. ā€œThis team needs to look very different, the culture needs to look very different. So basically polar opposite to what you had the opportunity in your 14 games to be, to act like and to implement, but failed hideously in doing so. Your actions, decisions, man management, and implementation of the ' correct culture needed for success' were, well basically fvcking abysmal mate, falling way way short. So what makes you think you will suddenly develope that you claim is needed overnight......clueless tw@t
  23. Then that alone shows how spinless he is for agreeing to that concession. 'I'm the manager and I pick and train the team as I see fit, its what you pay me for' Should.be his only words with regards to that conversation with the LCFC Board. Imagine if Top/Rudkin tried to set that stipulation with Pearson. They would be receiving a firm headbutt and a swift crisp white trainer up their ar$e and told no fvcking way that was happening. As any manager should really. '
  24. Well of course you can't. Lard is a rendered, semi-solid white cooking fat derived from a pig, so it's not a sentient being with the ability to communicate and have adult debate on a football forum
