  1. Beetlejuice.. Beetlejuice.. Beetlejuice..
  2. By the same token there's no guarantee we'll get it with Enzo this season as well. We are going back up with a shed load of baggage in the form of very limited budget, recently out of contract players that needed replacing and potential points deductions. I wouldn't blame him if he went to Chelsea where the team available to him and financial situation is polar opposite to ours. Ok, What would you do if offered the resources to complete, with a better quality of squad to mold into your idea, and a form of European football next season. Stay at Leicester? Oh I forgot, and potentially a salary increase as well.
  3. Spot on.. Nothing against the bloke, and appreciate and respect all he has done so far in the short period he's been here.. But... I fear he will stick to his philosophy even more next season and IMO we will end up doing a Burnley.
  4. I'm not sure if that really means anything my friend. It was mentioned when Pochettino was still Chelsea's manager..that's changed and if they come in with the £10m compo and also promise him funds to realise his idea of EnzoBall then I'd be very surprised if he's not off like a rocket.. Sacked by January mind you, as Chelsea is a poisoned chalice of a club.
  5. Totally agree. And echo your reasoning's as well. But the deals need to be realistic ( player age etc.) and in line with getting us back on a financial even Keel ASAP.
  6. Vestergaard ...only because of his cool coat.. Sorry. KDH or Harry for me. And I'm slightly leaning to Harry. Mr Dependable for 97% of the season and had glued it all together
  7. Swap him for a model in the shop, it'll probably have more pace anyway 😁
  8. I have a better idea. How about Top puts his "big boy pants" on and does what should have happened long time ago and sacks the pair of incompetent Tw@'s
  9. Jura single malt..... Mmm I don't mind if I do.... Well plays Enzo and the lads Oh cheers QPR too..
  10. Sorry. I don't know him..
  11. QPR win, get he seasons main priority done and dusted. Play the last two games with reduced pressure, and hopefully some freedom and you never know what might happen.
  12. So as you said, polar opposite to EnzoBall. Well maybe the Anti-Enzoball do have a point then. Cheers for the match update bud.👍
  13. Really. So Enzo actually canned his tippy tappy possession and control sh1t and we battered them. Well who would have thought it...
  14. Missed it tonight (family stuff) happy with the score, gutted I didn't see it.. Why was there a noticeable change from EnzoBall?
  15. Thank god someone else has done the maths and came to the same conclusion. I think we can just about get a result against Southampton if Leeds loose, just hope we don't buckle under the pressure and Enzo goes Uber Defensive and control crazy.
  16. We play them Tuesday if we take 3 points we go to 94pts and Played 44. ( Southampton stay on 84) If Leeds loose Monday they stay on 87 and played 44. So 7 points different from us and 3rd but two matches left so 6 max for Southampton and Leeds. So 93 max for them
  17. I'll have to be honest here, but credit were credits due Hamza was MOTM today and I did question his inclusion on another thread, but I'll gladly take this one on the chin and admit I got it wrong Coady thankfully proved all begging for his inclusion right, and for someone who come in relatively cold he was pretty much Spot on, ok could have been a tad sharper for their goal, but see previous statement. Happy as hell with the win but still not convinced with tactics, set up etc. and don't get me started on the subject of subs. He's "effing" clueless. Please someone correct me if my maths are wrong,( I wouldn't be surprised) but if Leeds loose on Tuesday and we beat Southampton aren't we guaranteed 2nd spot?
  18. I hope not.... Faes, Choudhury, and Ndidi, either out of form, a bomb scare waiting to happen, not match fit or a combination of some or all of the above. Vardy - sorry you truly wonderful man, but your days of starting matches are sadly over. Father Time has finally caught up with you in a footballing sence. Give Cannon a go, he can't do any worse than Daka at the moment. And this ladies and gentleman is were Enzo's lack of flexibility comes to the forefront. When we have out of form players and injuries to contend with sticking with a system that the available tools can't deliver. Keep "looking for solutions Enzo" hopefully in the near future you'll find them with a different team ....
  19. I'm not so sure... I think the players know deep down that EnzoBall is not all it's cracked up to be, especially with this current squad trying to implement it ( I'm not disrespecting them on that front, but they like many current squads would struggle with Enzo's idea if we are being honest, theres a reason why Man City have spent a bucket load of cash and have 115 breaches) Norwich showed us what we can achieve when stepping away from the "full" EnzoBall ethos, we mixed it up, increased the tempo, actually looked to get forward, tried different types of passes, all polar opposite to the patient, methodical, control at all cost, looking for solutions, bore fest we have endured for countless matches. After the crowd voiced their frustration with ironic cheers, thankfully the team response positively to it, and here was a noticeable change in style and application, it was also for me the most entertaining match of the season . And no, regardless of what the EnzoBall fan base claim, IT WASN'T EnzoBall working in it's purest and quintessential form, it was the team for a short period for whatever reason, not being stifulled by a god awful system that doesn't suit them collectively and being "allowed" to play with a bit more freedom and to most individuals actual strengths.. And of cause Enzo wouldn't say anything contradictory or inflammatory about it in interviews as itnwould show just how wrong his idea and style are for this actual squad and also his reluctance to change anything "officially"
  20. I think my friend we are near as damn it on the same page (good post by the way) Bold bits 1. It's much what I said, and I agree. 2. Our finishing recently is horrendous, and time for a change (Cannon) as its certainly not helping the cause, but EnzoBall still for me is the biggest factor. Dump or adapt it and pop on a 2nd striker and you just never know. 3. Spot on with Enzo, and it's just as bad when they are early 20's also..I know, I have one 😜 4. Forget counter attack. He just won't change. And I agree, if EnzoBall as we see it is deployed (and sadly IMO I think it will) HOPEFULLY the club see's sence after a few weapon grades spankings and get shot (if finances permit that is) I'm just praying that regardless of promotion or not that once the football authorities have imposed their sanctions he see's he's not getting the players he feels he need's and jumps ship.
  21. Ok you make some valid points. But no one was complaining about the challenges in your first paragraph when we were romping the league and building a point margin. The challenges you quoted didn't seem to hinder us at all then. Fast forward a load of games and our dominance starts to wain. I'm under the opinion ( and so are a number of other posters) "EnzoBall had been sussed out". Why because other managers have done their homework, looked at what they can change and adapted, be that changing under performing or tired players, a change in formation or even adjusting tactics to combat our " to me...to you" passing bore fest, so their team doesn't get pulled out of shape and keeps discipline, it could be a number of things really,. But the most important thing is they have taken action. Enzo hasn't, and Enzo won't. He too stubborn and is hell bent on shoehorning EnzoBall on the team to cover everything, every situation, regardless of us winning or trailing. Regardless if the oppositions manager has made a mid match change, it's combatted with EnzoBall. "It's the way we play, and it won't change as long as I'm here" That's why we are loosing and performing rubbish now, and that's why people are pi$$ed off with him and want shot. He's stubbornness and inflexibility.
  22. No it's not his fault what he inherited.. Yes he initially did very well with the motivation and got some great results. We are only the top team at present (not currently the best performing) due to our great start,* *Which due to his stubbornness we have squandered the gained points horrendously. Sorry but the downturn started before the off field debacle was made public and reared it's ugly head. I'll concede that with better finishing things could have been different....however Enzo picks the tactics, the style of play and the team selections - which currently includes Daka and Faes and an out of form JJ and Unfit and out of form Ndidi match after match. He also complains of squad tiredness and refuses to rotate or utilise the sub bench. Promotion would be a success, however playing championship football next season after spaffing a commanding points lead certainly isn't. The book stops with the manager as the saying goes.
  23. You're spot on. The guy is a 'Weapons Grade' wind up merchant. He's just trying to curry favour with Enzo. We all should just ignore the clown. Or some of us reply to his post on 'X' if you feel strongly about it, point out to him why he's talking boll*cks and tell him to 'do one'. I'm taking option one, as he's not worth the typing time.
  24. What you are saying my friend is what a lot of people have been clambering for, for a number of weeks now. A bit of variety, more tempo, and a desire to get forward. Sadly, come Saturday expect the rains to be fully attached, and straining in the firm grip of Enzo. He just won't change...
