  1. That's impressive as he only had 1.3 expected bogeys (or xB).
  2. I'm all for loyalty amongst fans. But the club has to meet us halfway. By continuing to go at the moment all we are doing is enabling the current set-up, particularly at board level, to think that everything is just fine and that they can carry on taking the piss out of their own fan base.
  3. Which is precisely what appeals to these fans. It's a chance to get out of the house and have natter with the like-minded fans around you. What goes on on the pitch is barely relevant to them.
  4. I disagree. Those fans will still go no matter how incompetent the club becomes or how far we fall. If Top came round to their house and took a dump on their living room rug they'd give him a round of applause.
  5. I see this thread has gone in an entirely predictable and intended direction.
  6. But probably no better. There were more misses than hits under Maresca. Coady, Cannon, Akgun and Casedei were all either peripheral figures or non-factors. He also wanted Sensi, who is pretty much Serie A's equivalent of BDCR and Ayew. Mads, Fatawu and Winks were all hits. But Enzo gave Glover all the credit for finding Fatawu, and Winks has been proven to be completely washed at PL level.
  7. So the players are revolting? I wouldn't disagree with that.
  8. They are actually in 7th place, but yes, he has turned their season around brilliantly.
  9. The tiny clapping man is getting frustrated at bottom of the table St Johnstone...
  10. If nothing happens in this last couple of laps this will go down as the dullest race in F1 history......which is saying something.
  11. Good. It's what needs to happen. Maybe then the penny will drop.
  12. His hands are tied mate.
  13. They are clearly not bad players and will get better, but I think it's more likely that Buonanotte and BEK have been made to look better than they actually are because we can only really compare them to the absolute crap around them. Let's call it The Mark Draper Effect (which would be a great name for a band).
  14. Don't quite get the fuss about BEK. He's been mediocre at best. But I can definitely envisage a lower/mid table PL club coming in with a lowball offer and him trying to force through the move like he did when coming here from Genk.
  15. It's worse. The threshold would actually be about £83m in losses, as the 23/24 season was in the Championship, where clubs are allowed just over £13m losses per year. The EFL could even argue that our threshold could be as low as £61m, as we successfully argued that we were a Championship club for the 22/23 accounting period to avoid PL sanctions.
  16. Could be decent, if we can all overlook the fact that none of them look even remotely like the person they are supposed to be playing.
  17. That maybe so, but the entertainment level was off the charts. You had an incredible atmosphere at the old Wembley. Uri Geller was flying above the stadium in a helicopter claiming he made the ball move just before Gary Mac's missed penalty. Then there was Gazza's brilliant flick over Colin Hendry before rifling home and then doing the 'Dentist Chair' celebration. You don't get anywhere near that level of entertainment in today's over-sanitised, no-fun, possession for possession's sake snorefest.
  18. Surely Chelsea will eventually run out of assets to sell to themselves. In the meantime they should be applauded for exposing PSR as the unworkable, loophole-ridden, not-fit-for-purpose farce that it is, even if that wasn't/isn't their intention.
  19. Horrendously bad performance. So many careless blind passes straight to an opponent. A point was more than they deserved, so just take it and run.
