  1. People incorrectly putting an apostrophe in Ndidi has me mildly triggered but this has sent me over the edge.
  2. Yeah seems a bit insensitive now you mention it, especially as they are also planning to wear the Oilers throwbacks in their week 15 game against the Texans. It would be like the MK Dons turning up to play AFC Wimbledon in the Wimbledon '88 Cup winning kit.
  3. Watching The Crash Detectives makes me fearful of how many absolute bell-pieces are out and about on the roads behind the wheel of a 1.5 tonne box.
  4. There's definitely an element of cash grab about it, but it's not like they are bringing out 3 new kits every year like our football clubs do. By the way, in week 8 the Titans will be wearing Oilers throwbacks, and the Seahawks will be wearing their 90s throwbacks.
  5. If a manager/coach wants to express his disappointment then this is how it's done. Short, straight to the point, without singling out specific players, and without any language worse than "horsesh*t" and "diddly poo"
  6. Well you're on a par with the club then because they only wore the jade and navy kit about 3 times in 1995/96 and never again.
  7. It's their throwback uniform from their old AAFC days in the 1940s. I like all the throwback uniforms. Even the Bucs brought out their old creamsicle uniforms yesterday - which are admittedly hideous - but I still like them from a purely nostalgic viewpoint.
  8. TBF the draw opened up for England in a way that would even make Gareth Southgate envious.
  9. Plucky underdogs England taking the game to Afghanistan in the cricket and Fiji in the rugby in the same day. What times we live in.
  10. Probably helping Bill with the Mystery Guest round.
  11. Hard earned point. Well done.
  12. Must be a weird feeling for Mary Earps not to be the best goalkeeper on the pitch.
  13. Man City 5-0 up on Bristol City in the first half. Could it be that we already have enough points to stay up?
  14. Is Lize Kop injured? Noticed that Holly Mears has been the GK on the bench for the last 2 matches.
  15. Maybe Cat Deeley is watching and thinking, "I could do a better job of hosting this than Tess Daly.".
  16. Nacho came off the bench to score Nigeria's second in a 2-2 draw.
  17. Shame Baywatch isn't still going as Youri's slow motion running would have been perfect for a role in that show.
  18. Good job for Danny that Gibraltar didn't register a single attempt either on or off target.
  19. Tash Flint with the equaliser... of course.
  20. Purdy would be the first QB to do it. Although it's worth noting that Kurt Warner won a Superbowl as an undrafted free agent QB (and was Superbowl MVP as well). I don't think you can get more 'irrelevant' than being undrafted. One thing to note is that Mr Irrelevant isn't quite as irrelevant as he used to be. Back in 1976 the NFL draft lasted for 17 rounds and 487 total picks. Purdy, while being the Mr Irrelevant in his draft class, was only pick number 262. Larry Brown was Superbowl XXX MVP for the Cowboys and was a 12th round draft pick (320th overall) in the 1991 draft.
  21. Important to get those first 2 wins in the bag as the fixture list gets much more difficult in the next few weeks.
  22. Daniel Amartey and Rachid Ghezzal both play for Besiktas in their 2-0 win over Istanbulspor. Ghezzal netted a penalty.
  23. Two more of Brendan's go to buzzwords - 'character' and 'personality'.
