  1. Pep experience ✅ Big name ✅ Plays passing football ✅
  2. Everything points to Enzo being an option for Chelsea, with McKenna the lead choice. Seems they're interviewing loads of options rather than how we're reading into it
  3. For sure, all have reasoning behind them. I was just intrigued what he'd be looking for in a role. Ajax has the pedigree, the youth prospects and the style he'd utilise. Nice has the pockets and the time probably. Both great places to rebuild reputation
  4. Believe he rejected the Ajax job, the nice job (potentially another french club) then the rejections of us and Southampton
  5. I'm unsure on what Potters thoughts are. He's rejected a few fairly big sides now
  6. They appointed Dean Smith, by all means nearly appointed Scott Parker. Have driven the club into an abysmal financial position, refused to make the sacking decision which ultimately got us relegated. Do you want me to continue?
  7. No shock there then
  8. Mate no one knows how ****ed we are financially, so no one has a clue
  9. Even if we're sold we'll be at the mercy of the top 6? We aren't poor, the system doesn't allow clubs to spend due to smaller infrastructure compared to the 'bigger' clubs. You're aware us changing owners won't miraculously fix everything and has us as a top 6 side right?
  10. Strange, but not unexpected The club manages to negatively surprise us in a new way almost weekly at this point
  11. Concerned who on earth the board will replace Enzo with. Can't imagine it'll be an exciting choice
  12. Really did not expect them to offer him a contract. Fair play to him, big gamble for them both
  13. Chelsea isn't a particularly serious club currently, wouldn't use them to prove your point
  14. And I don't think they should be. It's taken 3/4 years at Arsenal for Arteta of unwavering support to get to competing. He wouldn't get that at Chelsea, so there's no point bringing in a young, upcoming manager. For what Chelsea want, a young manager is not the best call
  15. But for every success story, there are equal numbers of failures. You've raised Arteta who has done well. But you've got Kompany who flopped at Anderlecht, did well at Burnley championship wise but then spent £154m and took them down without a fight. Klopps academy coach (similar to Enzo's role at Man City) when to Blackpool and hasn't done anything. Both McKenna and Enzo did great last year, but neither have any prem experience. We've just seen a Pep disciple crash and burn. Maybe Enzo does great with the endless resources, or maybe he flops under the pressure. Seems odd that Chelsea would take a gamble on a manager fresh from the EFL rather than some of the more experienced names available on the continent. FWIW I'd rather take Frank, has done brilliantly at Brentford
  16. The fact Chelsea and Man United are even considering Enzo and McKenna is hilarious. Neither club should be looking at our level of manager
  17. But they won't actually utilise them, it'll be Keane or Souness or Neville saying something outlandish whilst someone with an actual football insight has to sit and smile. James Horncastle has a ridiculous knowledge on the Italian leagues, and European football in general. How he hasn't been chosen to provide insight is ridiculous. Instead we'll have Rio screaming "OH MY GOD"
  18. Always find this interesting. Ferguson and Mourinho, both exceptional managers, but neither have really had any of their coaches/ players go on to become Good managers - Lampard/Rooney to name two. Whereas so many Pep has worked with have gone on to do recently well
  19. What a finish. Fact we didn't sign him and continued faffing money on crap is abysmal.
  20. That ITV line up is bloody dreadful minus Ian Wright.
  21. New name - Pierre Dwomoh 19yr old CM
  22. So Liverpool, Chelsea, rumoured Man United will all have new managers next season
  23. Tbf he's rejected numerous approaches and offers.
