For sure, credit is due for that. We had 23 shots (8 on target, 2 Sky classed as clear cut) today. Compare that to: - 12 (4 on target, 2 clear cut) Vs Boro, - 11 (6 on target, 1 clear cut) vs Leeds - 16 (5 on target, 1 clear cut) Vs QPR So we've clearly had more shots, so inferred we've made more opportunities. I'm hoping the break and return to fitness of numerous of our attacking players will see us create more. The worrying thing for me is for those 23 shots on target across 4 games we've had 4 goals. For the quality we have that just isn't good enough. I'm hoping this will improve with time however, but it's what has let us down in our 3 losses so far.

Also this highlights how protected keepers are.

When it's a punishment absolutely, but when there's the availability to, absolutely no reason a Prem ref shouldn't step down and ref a game or two. Even if they're an assistant to a younger ref.

Think it's a bigger issue, club don't exactly help themselves to get an atmosphere going. You see people head down at 37mins, because the clubs concourse is too small, especially in the kop, to deal with those wanting a drink/food or a piss.

Honestly think Prem refs should be made once or so a year to officiate a championship game, where they actually have to make decisions

Really let the game flow, was consistent with booking dissent/kicking the ball away for both sides too. Honestly wouldn't look out of place in the Prem.

Have been overly critical of him at times, but he really managed their striker well all game, barely got a sniff. Unlucky not to hit the target from a corner as well. Only criticism of the back line was the slow out ball today.

Last 30 was great, we had pace and attack from adding Fatawu and Vardy. Mavididi started to come alive as well. First 10/15 of 2nd half was laborious.

Would like to see Vardy or Cannon start next game, with the other rotated in at 60. Nacho offered so little until a couple flashes at about 50mins. We're bloody slow on the ball though, defence and Mads have been really laboured in passing the ball out and around. Don't see why we don't utilise our Wingers running in behind more.

Okay that twists things a little. We've had Yunus, Wilf and Praet out for the last few weeks, and in Praets case since August. And then we've had Kasey having pulled his hamstring and only been fit the last few weeks.

Wouldn't even say the fanbase reaction is the biggest hurdle. People will complain, the club will think it's "family" tag is at risk and hit someone with another ban. We've seen that majority of the ground rate the Tifo efforts from the group, but we've still seen things pop up of them blocking "the most important view" of the players walking out and the club appear to listen to it.

So Newcastle should be punished more as a club, for the acts of their player breaking the rules during his time elsewhere. Yet Everton, as a club, should be punished less for the club itself breaking rules and juggling the books to try to make them line up. Assume Neville blamed the Glazer's for all of these issues
