  1. Tom Cannon. Surely the new manager has got to give him a proper go.
  2. Who hasn't?! No? Just me then.
  3. Yes I saw a headline on a newsfeed saying Wilf was considering staying with us. Didn't go any further as presumed it was clickbait.
  4. Surely the three year deal is so we can hike his transfer fee up when Chelsea come calling for him??
  5. All set to complete the ultimate fairytale now - Vardy scores the goals to keep us in the Premier League. He can then go off and spend the rest of his life on a beach knowing he's been our greatest ever player (although, he is already).
  6. I lived in Notts for 12 years before coming home. I've worked for Nottingham based companies for over 20 years, still work for one now but WFH in Leics. Met loads of F****t fans over the years and there's literally one who I've met who is decent. They will go out of their way to tell you they don't care about Leicester. Will go to great lengths to make the point. And if they think you haven't got it that they don't care about you, they will tell you again and again and again. We don't care about you. Oi! We don't care about you? Did you hear me? Did you hear what I said??! WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU! HEY YOU OVER THERE! WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU! LISTEN TO WHAT I'M SAYING! WE DON'T CARE!!!!! Yeah, ok.
  7. Yes Norwich, of course. I remember now all the pre match talk was about O'Neill walking out on them. What a sliding doors moment.
  8. Spot on. A season with no VAR was lovely. An Arsenal season ticket holding friend of mine was saying how much he hates VAR and so does everyone who sits around him.
  9. MON was managing Norwich and we looked set to appoint Mike Walker as our next manager. We played (West Brom I think it was) on a Sunday afternoon, David Nish was in charge and it was the match when he brought Heskey on as a sub for his first appearance who went on the score the winner. Anyway, it was on Central TV and Mike Walker was the expert pundit in the studio and by all accounts spent the match slagging off our defence (I was at the match so heard this second hand) and most people were not happy at all that he was to be our next manager. O'Neill walked out of Norwich and took over at Leicester, so there was probably a lot of relief that we weren't getting Walker, as well as the excitement. A lot of people were very anti O'Neil for the same reason that people don't want Cooper now.
  10. Yes, just listened to it and he would now be my favourite too. Hoping for Corberan, expecting Cooper.
  11. He has concerns about safety and security? Can you elaborate on this?
  12. Got to be Spurs hasn't it - bum licking the big boys again
  13. People are laughing at Enzo going to Chelsea and saying he will have players forced upon him and he will be told who to play and how - and the exact same thing happened to Cooper at F****t and he stll managed to keep them up - but he's utter shit and people don't want him anywhere near our club. I'm not being an advocate for Cooper by the way - I'm neither excited or full of dread at the thought of him being appointed, but the way that people have us instantly relegated playing terrible football if he came is wrong. He would deserve a chance, the same as whoever does get the job. People just need to take the blinkers off.
  14. And Ward. He's probably plotting his route back to the first team at this very moment.
  15. Just announced by the beeb as well. He's now a page in our history. NEXT!
  16. 100% this. Imagine being a Derby or Cov fan for the last ten years compared to us. They aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but when they leave and we go back to having someone like Terry Shipman or Martin George in charge, we'll look back on the time of their ownership and wonder if it was all a dream.
  17. I know absolutely nothing about him but I now desperately want him to manage us because of that photo alone.
  18. Well, that's me told then.
  19. Don't get the hate for Cooper. He did a decent job keeping F****t up with a chairman who is a cross between Fawaz and the Godfather. I think with more supportive backing and a good, settled squad, he could do something for us. And imagine if we finished above F****t with Cooper in charge and even better, they went down. Delicious. Cannot see Potter coming at all. As soon as other clubs hear he's back in the market for work, he's going to have better propositions than us courting him.
  20. Five year deal, my word.
  21. I said you buy one, you get one free.
  22. Not deflated about Enzo leaving but concerned about what comes next. Enzo did well and did what was asked of him but he started to show Rodgers symptoms for me, the ego, the 'I know better than you' attitude, the seemingly wanting to oversee all aspects of running the club - which may or may not have worked, but if it didn't, we'd be in a hell of a mess. The board need to get this next appointment spot on or we're in real trouble. No Smith replacing Rodgers appt which was a total waste of time and they might as well have not bothered. This is a pivotal season for us and it has to be the right appointment, not a finger in the air job and hope it all goes right.
