Exeter away in the next round pls
-
Get in!!!! So cool and calm. What a finish. This style of football WORKS!!
-
7.15 - 7.40. What you say is clearly as assumption lol.
-
Well yeh, that's exactly what we are. Only way it will change is if fans get together and start class action against the broadcasters and the league
-
All the personal anecdotes are great but not what is being discussed which is a systemic issue. It's not a court, you don't get a free pass if you can prove you jumped around a bit. Just move nearer the singing section, if you can.
-
Jersey bulls 2-0 down, then 4-2 up in the 91st min, and end up drawing 4-4 lol. Horrendously hilarious football all round
-
Why are so many looking for streams?!?! There’s multiple live on iptv, presumably across all the providers
-
Haha presume you’re on the same link
-
Watching on Bristol city ifollow via IPTV, it’s pretty good! Enjoying the pre match montages

Fair enough, I always thought 'it's an entertainment business' was the preserve of Spurs fans, but as I get older I see where you are coming from although do heavily disagree, there's nothing like winning. I don't see the current football as boring at all, we toy with teams then hit them fast and hard. A couple of the goals at Soton were electric. The football Rodgers played was bad because we were up against teams of a much higher quality and ability than the rabble we face now, and if we go up and start playing real football teams next season, it will be disastrous again. But we are playing low quality opposition now, I see no reason why we should be playing agricultural, basic Sunday league level football when we are so clearly a cut above.
-
But passing around the back IS working so far. Leave the past and Rodgers where it is. Championship players are nowhere near good enough to close our back line down, steal the ball and score. Drawing the opposition in and then playing the ball into KDH and winks in acres of space to lead the attack is yawningly apparent every match. These dudes didn’t suddenly become world beating dynamic midfielders overnight, the football style suits them. Get behind it!

I did quote the wrong post!! Apologies, my phone is very bad for the forum and I was hastily typing in the pub. Long story short, I agree! No to megaphones yes to growth/investing in the singing section.
-
As the post suggests, it’s just not in our dna. Posts like let’s get a megaphone at the ground or a bloke directing the chanting are so un-British it’s laughable. We act like commodities, and therefore get treated like commodities, which is being seen in every part of British life now. The singing section and those who individually (I was shown proof of this pre Bournemouth match) lay out tifos should be highly commended and seen as an example to follow, rather than some European megaphone brigade

Snide and very spiteful, I’ve seen people standing on seats multiple times and presumably not getting a ban
-
He got banned for 6 games for standing on a seat and singing? Sounds like this is missing a massive bit of context. If not, it sounds as unjust as this forum with the 'why have I been banned for discussing politics!!!!' threads whilst loads of middle aged internet dudes abuse each other
-
To me it sounded like he was asking for an end to the non stop droning and barking when we haven't hoofed it up to Steve Howard to chase 5 seconds after getting the ball, the gasps and yelps when we play a few balls around the back line and the general negative chuntering around the place.
-
This league is of an alarmingly sub standard level. Cannot remember it being this bad last time. Plus we’re well fit and strong
-
Much more raw? Defo missed that, it’s 6-3-1 opposition with zero plan b, poor fitness and strikers who can’t finish. Championship players also earn a helluva lot of cash and know how to dive. I was told this league would be some kind of physical marathon test of mental character and ability. It’s not at all, it’s just crappy teams with one dimensional managers. We didn’t have a pre season and haven’t even played well yet and won 5/6. It’s more enjoyable because we dominate the ball and win matches against poor quality teams
-
As if lol. They’ll you’ll have hoards of lcfcforeternity opposition fan types like from the other thread buying tickets in the away end. Horrendous idea
-
Although I do empathise with the feeling. It’s England’s most successful period in my life and I couldn’t give a crap. I was at the semi final in 2021 and part of me wanted Kasper to save Kane’s pen. A function of going to Amsterdam to watch England and seeing the amount of absolute driptray white van man weirdos that support England, and ‘falling out of love with football’ too
-
Absolutely loving the PL at the moment, the start has been brilliant imo. Spurs and villa 1-0 down in the 98th and 87th min respectively and both win. Brighton going to OT and destroying Man U. Accumulators and soccer six blown apart in a matter of minutes. And that’s just a few of the 3pm matches from one weekend. It’s far from boring or awful

Ex Players - They used to play for us

I wasn't, but it shouldn't be a comparison. Like saying I really hope everyone who has depression, anxiety etc was around in the 40s when chimney sweepers were beaten up and men were men whatever it was. Fact is the almost daily worldwide shaming of Maguire is crazy, whether it's justified or not because he earns a ton of cash, and how he deals with it is amazing. As someone who took a bit of stick on an anonymous internet football forum then publicly walked out, surely you understand and commend his behaviour. Not a dig, but I wonder how you'd react in an even vaguely similar situation. And before money is mentioned, there are literally billions of people across the world who would get punched, kicked, spat out and have a steel rod inserted up them on a daily basis for the money I presume you make to sustain a life in England. You wouldn't. -

Money doesn’t mean you have to put up with this. Median income in the world is <$10k, I guess you earn multiple times that and I guarantee you’d have a mental health anxiety meltdown if you received 0.0000000000001% of the abuse maguire gets in your workplace. He’s got balls of absolute steel to deal with the daily flak he gets for years now and still putting himself out there -
Mirrors my experience. Had a reply from EFL hiding behind the disclaimer of 'all fixtures subject to change.' I did raise that a proportionate response needs to be taken to this disclaimer, would they be willing to change a game 48, 24 hours before KO time, and use the disclaimer to avoid compensating for financial harm? I am not sure how that would be interpreted legally. The fact that no asterisk was raised against this fixture, and there was clear evidence the match could move given pre-arranged EFL cup dates, gives me hope. I have it in writing that the EFL acknowledge an asterisk should've been placed against the fixture given a potential move due to EFL cup. As evidence, an asterisk was placed against Newcastle v Brentford, which was subject to change due to CL fixtures, and subsequently did change. I haven't contacted LCFC, but may do. Interestingly they did try and shift the blame onto LCFC with the following quote: Clubs understand that the value of the League’s TV broadcast rights allows Sky the ability to request fixtures for broadcast throughout the season but ultimately benefits them, through associated basic award payments.' Currently fighting Wizz Air hard in the small claims court, but considering taking this forward when that case closes.
